Dr. Weinfeld did my blepharoplasty (upper eyelid lift) 8 weeks ago, and I'm very pleased with the results. I inherited heavy lids from my father. It had reached the point where I not only looked tired all the time, I really was tired by midafternoon because of the effort to keep my eyes open. I researched many cosmetic surgeons in the Austin area, comparing services, prices and reviews. I was impressed when Dr. Weinfeld himself answered my email the same day. It took other places a couple of days for a staff person to get back to me (one was over a week). I also liked his price, comparable or a bit lower than some others, and much less than one surgery clinic I always see advertised. While I wanted to get this done, I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg since it wasn't something that would be covered by insurance (my eyelids weren't affecting my vision yet). When I went to the consultation, I thought Dr. Weinfeld was very easy to talk with and straightforward. I appreciate that in a doctor. There was no pressure to get more done than I wanted. His staff were all helpful and knowledgeable. To echo what another reviewer said, they made the whole experience from my initial consultation pretty seamless. The surgery wasn't bad at all, although recovery was somewhat harder and longer than I had anticipated. But it was definitely worth it -- kind of remarkable how a relatively small change has had such a positive effect. I look and feel more refreshed. After seeing my results, so many people (both women and men) have remarked that they want to get their eyelids lifted also, and I always recommend Dr. Weinfeld to them
