Would like to say right away that Dr. Wiener & staff are great! This has been a long time coming for me! Long short I've always wanted bigger boobs. I have researched implants & Dr.'s for years. Dr. Wiener was on my list years ago & ended up being my choice this year when I finally had the funds to go through with it!! About 5 yrs ago my husband @ the time decided to use my money I had saved for my breast augmentation on a motorcycle. I laugh now because I can! Lol Now divorced, (not the main reason for the divorce but definitely didn't help our situation), I had the funds to do it again & finally I have my boobies!!!
I chose Dr. Wiener because I honestly felt after seeing about 6 others in the clear lake & Houston area, that he was the Dr. for me. He is totally different than any of the others. He is very upfront & tells you what you need to hear!!! This is very important! I know how excited I was going into each one of my appnts. with these surgeons as im sure most of us woman are! I was kind of like, "here I am, tell me what I want to hear & leta get this done today"!! When I saw Dr. Wiener I was given a whole different perspective on the surgery. He didn't try to sell me the most expensive implant on the market, he told me what implant he used & why. He didn't give me a false sense of what I may look like, which I realized the others had done. (The other Dr.'s were like, "we'll do this, this & this use this implant & they will look beautiful"). Dr. Wiener was streight forward. He told me they will not be perfect, any imperfections you have now will be enhanced. Size, strechmarks etc. These are things you really don't want to hear, but I was like omg your right! He didn't allow me to try on like 10 sizes, he chose about the largest he would actually use on my body & then ley me choose if I wanted to go down from there. This is also extremely important. All the others literally let me try on like 20 implants & tell them what I wanted. They also gave me a limit after the fact, but it seemed to just be a huge waste of time knowing there is a limit depending on your chest & frame. Dr. Wiener also had me get a mammogram before I was even able to set my surgery date, or pay him any money @ all. Not one of the other 6 doctors I had seen even mentioned mammogram, & I was given the chance to drop the deposit & chose my surgery date that 1st consult appnt. Which after seeing Dr. Wiener had me feeling very uneasy about the priorities of these other surgeons. I mean of course they are about the money, but I'm telling you, it was a breath of fresh air to me to have found such a great plastic surgeon who's first priority was my well being. Very very hard to come by these days. I can't stress that enough, working in the Health Administrative Field myself.
My surgery was Awesome, little pain @ all. I was in his office for preparation @ 7am sharp & I was wheeled out & on my way home completely aware & feeling happy as hell @ like 10:30am or so. It was so awesome!
I go back for my 3 week post op this Tues.
