I had a large mole on my philtrum which I felt was...
I had a large mole on my philtrum which I felt was distorting my upper lip. I originally had two shave excisions performed by another plastic surgeon. The mole, of course, grew back and was assymmetrical due to scarring.
I found Dr. Wise while searching for facial/reconstructive plastic surgeons. I set up an appointment with his office to have the mole surgically removed. The day of the appointment I met Dr. Wise and his staff and we discussed what I wanted done. Dr. Wise was very kind, personable, and I did not feel rushed to make a decision. He reassured me that removing the mole would not be a problem and my lip would look much better once it was removed. After almost two months post surgery, with a small scar where the mole was, I am 100% satisfied with the results. My upper lip looks more symmetrical and the scar is barely noticeable besides some redness.
Overall I had a great experience with Dr. Wise and his staff. All nice people who care very much about their patients. They responded promptly to my concerns throughout the time I had the stitches as well as got me in quickly when I found a stitch that had been missed. I would certainly recommend Dr. Wise if you need delicate cosmetic work done.
