Not a Good Rhinoplasty Outcome

I think Dr. Wise is a very nice guy, and his office staff was great, but I would not recommend for rhinoplasty other than something simple. Had I done more research I would have chosen a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty and does a lot of procedures, rather than a generalist.
Given, I had somewhat of a quirky nose, but what I came out with was a lot worse. From the moment I came out of surgery, even with the cast on, you could see the nose was very crooked. I kept getting told to give it time. Well, with time, and as the swelling went down, it only got more crooked. I've actually been asked if I broke my nose. That was not the case before the surgery. Also, I cannot breathe at all out of one side of my nose. I had perfect breathing before. He used cadaver rib cartilage, which has curved significantly. He did offer to "tweak" it with an in-office procedure, but from what I've been told after several consultations with other rhinoplasty surgeons, this is going to require a complete rebuild with my actual rib cartilage, and at a significant cost ($20,000). While it would be nice to save the money and go back to this doctor, I just don't have confidence in his ability to fix this. This was such a disappointing experience.
My only advice - - research thoroughly and go with a rhinoplasty specialist.
