Its been 14 months since my Fue procedure. My hairline looks Amazing. Seriously.. .take a look.
It looks better at 51 then it did when i was mid 30's.

If you are unsure about a Fue Hair Transplant, you need to read my review. ( 7 months since the operation)
I was undecided for approx 2 years trying to make a decision. It wasn't 1st priority so I would simply read reviews and credentials on and off .
Now, I live minutes from Manhattan and could have easily went to NYC for a hair restoration. However the facilities I was seeing seemed more like they were just in it for the sale and not the finished product. Nothing really stood out for me.
I found Dr Wise on realself. His Wayne NJ facility was just 30 minutes from me.
For me, the reason he stood out was that he is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. At the time he had some reviews about Fue restoration. One of the reviews really caught my attention so I set up an appointment for a consultation.
Consultation:
After meeting with Dr Wise I knew this was the place I was going to have my Fue Restoration.
First off the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The facility is new and spotless. Dr Wise himself I found to be easy going. There was no pressure sale at all. I received his opinion and proposal quickly. The pricing was right there with the other offers. After a few days, I scheduled the procedure.....
My Procedure:
For me, Dr Wise suggested I go with 2000 grafts. The day of the procedure, I was dropped off. For the Fue Transplant, you need to sit in a chair lying down throughout the day. There is a television there for you to watch. I was not nervous the least bit.
When I arrived, we discussed the finished hairline to be designed and I was given a pill to relax that took about 20 minutes to take affect. Just after I took the pill, my head was shaved and then I was in place in the chair. I kid you not, I fell asleep shortly after that . In fact I fell asleep before they started the harvesting . I didn't wake up until there were just 18 grafts left. I slept through the entire procedure. I felt nothing....
The best part was after waking up they handed me a mirror, my entire head looked " AMAZING". The grafts were all in place and literally looked like I just had a crew cut. My hairline was completely rebuilt from front to back with the grafts. It was amazing to see. I never will forget what one of the techs said to me as I was looking in the mirror... he said " Wait until your hair grows in, it is going to look incredible... I am very happy for you"...
I was anxious and couldnt wait
Post Operation:
One of the benefits of selecting Dr Wise is that there are a series of follow up visits. Also Included in the price was the ultraviolet light treatments + the blood growth stimulation solution that you take home and spray on as directed. Post operation there were no side affects to mention. Just a few ingrown hairs that would slightly swell up and then dissipate. After a few days, the bandage came off and it was back to normal.
HAIR GROWTH. = AMAZING
For a solid 2 weeks, my hair line looked amazing. I was told and read that the tiny hairs will fall out of the follicle before the real growth kicks in. At about the 3 month mark, my hairline was back to being where it was just before the operation. They say that you wont see any hair growth until about the 5-6 month mark. At the end of the 4th month, my hair started sprouting and out it came. It was exciting to see. By the end of the 5th month, my hair was growing to the point that I needed a hair cut. It was all growing in exceptionally well. I am now in my 6th month and it looks amazing. The hair has really filled in and is still getting thicker.
One thing I would like to point out. Just prior to my operation, I ran into a friend that ended up having a Fue Transplant just a month prior to my procedure. He paid 1/2 the price I paid. His face was slightly swelled as he just had the operation days earlier. He told me he had the FUE hair transplant at a local facility. This ended up pushing me into getting my hair done immediately after with Dr Wise.
Well I ran into him when I was 5 months post operation/ he was 6 months. Our result comparison was night and day. We were making comparisons and I couldn't help notice him looking at my hairline. He was amazed. Then he said it..." I think I made a mistake and should have went to your doctor".
For me, I know I made the right decision....Hope this helps others that are in the due diligence period
