I went to see Dr. Ganchi about my arms. I had always had very large arms, and I wanted to discuss my options. I made myself very clear, although I did not want a scar from arm surgery I also did not want SAGGING SKIN!! I wish that he would have been honest and told me that I was not a good candidate

please in the future make sure they are board certified plastic surgeons, I made the same mistake with my thighs they are sagging and very lumpy and deformed. I am scheduled for a thigh lift next month. good luck

Hi Liposcam... Sorry you're not happy with your result. As you know, for the best result, you were advised to have an arm lift by Dr. Ganchi. However, you decided that you didn't want the scar associated with an arm lift and decided to go against Dr. Ganchi's advice. The only option that remained was to perform a laser liposuction to reduce the size of your arms. As was discussed, laser liposuction removes fat but doesn't replace an arm lift as it only provides a subtle tightening of the skin compared to arm lift but more tightening than a plain liposuction. This concept was reviewed on at least two separate occasions. As you note, you had "very large arms". You also note that you didn't want the scar from arm lift but also didn't want sagging skin. Unfortunately, there is no such procedure. In order to tighten skin fully, a scar is necessary. Without a scar, fat can be removed to make the size of the arms smaller but loose skin will remain. At this point, fat has been removed so the arms are smaller. An arm lift can still be performed to make the skin tighter too. If interested, this can be discussed at your next visit with Dr. Ganchi.
The entire procedure was a hoax. I was very clear from the beginning that I did not want my skin to sag. You indicated that the laser would prevent sagging skin. I paid $8000 and I have major SAGGING SKIN!!!! I came to your office because I wanted and deserved an honest answer. Instead of taking my money you shoukd have said I was not a good candidate, but you were greedy and you took my money and left me disfigured. I believe that you took and oath - ethically this is wrong. When a patient is not a good candidate it is your job to tell them the truth. Although you appear wrll mannered and caring you only care about earning a paycheck. Instead of telling me about your other dissatisfied patients you should work on being honest about the quality of work you perform.
