Just discovered this site and loved ready everyones experiences, yet some are freaking me out! Tomorrow i go to have my final consult and pay. I have a lot of anxiety going on hoping I'm making the right decision. I'm really nervous on how high I see some of the tummy tuck scars, I want mine well hidden. I'm also very nervous about recovery too, I don't handle pain well. Am I making the right decision? Hopefully I will be at ease tomorrow. Any advice is welcome!

How'd your appointment go? I'm so confused for what I actually want, I starting to second guess myself! Also found out my surgeon gives Tylenol 3 for pain. Ummmm for TT with BA? I'm a wuss... I fear the pain

It went good , basically signed away my life, literally lol. Got some more questions answered and some still unanswered, like what size implant. Still trying to figure that one out, I don't want to look fake either. So scared to have regrets....I also expressed my concern about being able to hide the tummy tuck scar...he told me to bring in a bikini for surgery and he will do his best to hide it, so many pics I see people's scars hang out and I don't want that. I'm super scared of the pain too...I get sick on vicodine so they gave me oxy. I cant believe they are only giving you Tylenol 3...yikes. I have 2 small kids so I can't be down too long. I do a lot of second guessing too but I'm kinda committed now that I paid my fees, lol.

Tomorrow my surgery is a week away...

So signed all the concent forms and paid my fees now this is feeling real. I'm definitely very nervous. Trying to get everything in order around the house. Clean house, prep some freezer meals, etc. A few questions for you all...did anyone follow a special diet the day before surgery? The nurse said to stick with things easily digested. Anyone recommend anything to put on the scars to reduce the appearance? Is a toilet seat extender really a good thing to invest in so you don't have to lower your body as much? Love this site but don't like reading the horror stories, lol. I'm so nervous on the recovery since I have 2 young children who depend on me.

5 days post
5 days post surgery and feel great!! One concern are my nipple pointing down??? HELP!!
afeestSeptember 16, 2015
So today I am 5 days post surgery and I am feeling amazing, I have actually been feeling amazing the last 3 days. I've been getting up frequently, getting my kids off to school and able to move around with ease. I have been been off my pain meds since 9/15. (Only 4 dags on oxy) I have been just taking 2 ibrebrophan b4 bed) I'm very ecstatic from the stories I read I thought recovery would be worse but I am having great luck. I was already able to get my breast drains removed on Monday so that was a relief. I'm hoping I can get one of my ab drains removed tomorrow and the other Friday or Monday. Here is my concern.... So right before surgery my doctor knew how concerned I was with not wanting to have the scar of an anchor to do the breast lift, last minute he decided that he thought maybe we could do it without if we put a big enough implant in which he ended putting up 450 CC's in each breast, I was super excited but hindsight maybe I really did need it. The nurse said on Monday that once I start massaging them which I can do at 2 weeks post surgery they should fall into place. I'm nervous they will not though. What do you think has anyone ever experienced this? i am set up to get all my stitches out on sept 24, yay!! Then i will be able to address my concern to my doc. I hope i keep recovering well!! :)

I'm also nervous that my beasts will sit up high... my right is much happier right now. I can't complain though. For being less than 24 hours out. I don't feel too awful.
September 17, 2015
Yeah i can't complain either recovery was much easier then what I read from people on here!! I just had one of my ab drains taken out today, 3 gone 1 to go! Yay!! Hopefully monday the last drain will be pulled...The nurse reassured me again today my breasts will even out when the swelling goes down. 6 days post op and I feel GREAT! Continue to recover quickly!! What size did you end up getting for your boobs?

September 17, 2015
That's Great that you have a drain out... mine are still draining fairly regularly. So we are looking at Monday or Tuesday for drains to be gone.
I went with a cohesive gel implant. 400cc high profile.
