In October 2015 I had a rhinoplasty preformed by Dr. Munish Shandilya. The surgery took place in Whitfield Clinic in Waterford.
I had been considering the surgery for about 10 years. In 2012 I had a surgery date booked with a doctor in London but the logistics of having surgery so far way caused me to cancel. At the start of 2015, I had begun looking for a surgeon in Ireland. In totally I had three consultations of which Dr Shandilya was the first. Dr Shandilya was by far the most professional and it was an easy decision to make to make. Also the fact that Dr Shandilya was an ENT surgeon and specialised in rhinoplasty made me even more convinced. I had been told my most surgeons my case wasn’t straight forward so I want to ensure I had a very good doctor.
The surgery and recovery was surprisingly easy. I had read and been told that it wasn’t a painful experience but it was even easier than expected. The only thing that stands out was a bad itch close to getting the cast off.
Before getting the surgery I was nervous about people noticing that I had some work done. Absolutely nobody noticed, not at work, or close friends or relatives. I did get a few seconds looks from people and some compliments on my appearance.
If you want to get this surgery done, my advice would be to go for it. Like so many people I wish I had done it sooner. I love my new nose, it really suits me and my face.
Doctor Shandilya was so pleasant and professional. He is a very talent man and a nice person. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and I thank him for the good care he took with me.
