  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.

I had researched the top plastic surgeons in the...

I had researched the top plastic surgeons in the DMV extensively and had been to several of the "best" based on referrals from friends of mine who had great experiences. Dr. Chobaki was the third opinion and I am very fortunate to have consulted him. Not only did I save money in unnecessary surgery, I was very pleased to have received not just "results" that were almost instantly visible, but I am extremely happy with my initial office visit (consultation/procedure) and 2-week post follow up visit.

My concerns were addressed immediately. I noticed a difference in my appearance shortly after a sports injury to my nose, and coupled with losing over 10 pounds, which resulted in a loss of volume/fat in my cheeks, which caused my nose to become much more prominent. It was most visible to me from the front and side, in photographs. Now I know my nose was great prior to the injury because I was offered a modeling contract from Elite Models, prior to the changes in my face.
Based on the fact that I would be traveling for a trip, I asked Dr. Chobaki if there were any non-invasive alternatives to help "rebalance" the appearance of my face. He noticed that the loss of volume and the trauma to my nose was the main issue and was quick to recognize a solution.
While other plastic surgeons were so quick to want to do surgery (rhinoplasty) on me, the Dr. advised to wait a year post-trauma until the nose fully heals. In the meantime, he offered botox for crows, and 1 syringe of restylane in my upper cheeks. I felt comfortable enough to have it administered on the spot in the same office visit. The procedure was pretty painless pre-and post although the injection of the numbing agent was the most difficult. My skin is hypersensitive to all and everything and I experienced very little to none bruising. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to have their "youthful" rejuvinated look back. I am in my mid-30's and take pretty good care of my skin. Needless to say, a busy work schedule and active life and stress can take its toll on one's look. If you are considering a "facial renovation" and are not happy with the aging appearance of your face, fillers and botox is a must-try prior to going under the knife. This doctor is extremely caring, knowledgable, and truly wants to do the best thing for the patient. Not only does he genuinely care, he was also the only plastic surgeon that asked the right questions to find out what my main concern was, (the nose or the overall changes in my facial appearance.) Now I never take the time to right a review based on time constraints, however, I want to applaud excellent service and care when I see it. Coming from a healthcare background, I believe we owe it to the public, our peers, and family to make great recommendations. I will most certainly be going back in a year when my fillers wear off for maintenance treatment.
