After going my whole life with severely crooked teeth, I have reached a point in my life where it's time to take charge of my life and make myself happy. I am ready to be able to smile in photographs and hopefully by my son's high school graduation in May 2016 my outside will finally reflect my inside. I met today with an orthodontist who classified my case as "complex" and "severe" but she seemed confident that I would be thrilled with my results. Without acceledent my treatment would take two years, but with acceledent only one.

Hi and welcome, your teeth are nowhere near as bad as mine and I'm sure your results will be every bit as good. Take a look at my profile and you'll see how far I've come in the past year, even without acceledent the improvement is dramatic. Good luck, I'm sure you'll get lots of support on here.

Your teeth are not severe at all! 3 months with invisalign would sort that. My teeth were far far worse than yours in on a 1-10 scale yours a 4 mine were 10 in terms of severity. Trust me 3 months will sort that. Don't let greedy dentists try to make you take out extortionate plan as they will ALWAYS try to extract more money than teeth! Good luck you'll be just fine :-D

Today I went in to get my X-rays done and all the pictures taken. My aligners will arrive in about 3 weeks.

Well, it's been what seems like forever... but finally tomorrow I am going in to get my aligners. My orthodontist went out of town, and so it's been a month or so since I went in for impressions. I am looking forward to it!
