Surgery was a success and I'm down 40 lbs in just six weeks!!! So far no major issues. I'm starting to get my energy back and I feel great!!!!!

My surgery is schedules for August 3rd!! B I'm excited but at the same time really nervous because I don't know what to expect. I could really use some good advice right about now!

Hi, I live in MD (Georgia Avenue) just had mine July 13.. 10 days post op-- So many factors in this, but don't worry or stress .. I must admit I was pressed to get out of hospital (HolyCross).. and came home- I can finally sleep in a bed.. !! Feel free to ask me any questions and Good Luck!

Glad to hear that all is well with you. I'm counting down the days. I'm really nervous but I'm sure I'll be fine. what's the biggest challenge that you've had to face after the surgery if you don't mind me asking?

Biggest challenge.. Getting enough protein.. that 70grams incorporated with your overall amount of liquid to prevent dehydration.. is not a game. Also, getting a good nights rest.. in a comfortable position.. The couch is still my best option until today.. I'm 2 weeks post op today..

So, I've completed all necessary steps now, just waiting on a surgery date. I'm excited! Throughout this journey, i have come across so many people who are absolutely happy with their decision to have this surgery. Will keep you all updated, pics coming soon!
