I' writing this to save people from making the same mistake. My easy and cheap smart lipo decision became a nightmare for me.
Smart Lipo is supposed to melt fat cells gently and help tighten skin through a less traumatic procedure and give better results than the traditional liposuction but don't believe it! It is no like that.
It is four months since I had SMART LIPO yet on my back and sides and I still having lumps, tenderness, pain and my skin feels looser now.
While the surgeon was performing the smart lipo I had a lot of pain looked as he never put me anesthesia. I had three visits to the doctor office yet I explained him what's happening to me and the answer is always the same:" ...everything is ok, don't worry with the time the pain will disappear..."
So I decided to have a second opinion about this I chose a very well known plastic surgeon called Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez and he is really helping me a lot with this. To begin with this he explained me how smart lipo really works what happens inside the body by using heat energy. The lumps are formed because of the dead no absorbed fat which creates scar tissue, the tenderness is due to smart lipo also melts the fat inside the protective cells that wraps around nerve cells all this make me feels really uncomfortable my skin feels different from any other part of my body.
I know I am not the only one having this problem with this procedure, so please if you are going to have liposuction chose the traditional lipo , read very carefully about both.
