Hello! Finally got round to doing another update, sorry for the delay but I've included loads of pics to make up for it :) my scar is barely there and not noticeable at all. I'm loving my results and think it's the best think I've ever done for my appearance! make sure you go to a GP you trust to get your stitches out because I went to a walk in clinic and felt like the nurse wasn't as careful as a cosmetic surgeon would be, but my scar still looks fantastic anyway and I don't think it made much difference, hurt a LOT when they were being taken out.

Definitely happy with my results, my lip is certainly lifted and I can see more teeth. loving the look of it, will be getting a bit of filler soon to make my bottom lip match, and a little in the top too.
During the week I thought i was developing a keloid scar, then when it dropped off and realised it was just a scab! I've been cleaning it with undiluted surgical spirit since day 4, and now I'm using dermatix where the scab has came off, probably to early to use it but I felt like the area where the scab has fell off was tight and thought the moisture would do it good.
Can't wait for the stiches to be out! I've been out and about everyday in public with a dressing on, even met some of my boyfreinds extended family! I was planning on hiding away for a week and not leaving the house but he convinced me noone cared if i had surgery, and he was actually right, I felt so awkard saying that I'd had something done but people just wernt bothered.
advice to people thinking of having it done, do it in winter!! it is so uncomfortable wearing a dressing in the warm weather, I wanted to itch my face off.
anyway, il leave you all some pics from the last week, and feel free to ask me anything!

forgot to mention, the length is now between 1cm and 1.2cm depending on which bit of the lip u measure x

I love our result so far!!! And the stitches look amazing! You are healing a lot better hen I was I thin you scar will be invisible. How are you sweetie? When will you have the stitches removed? Xx
I'm not sure do you think today is too early? there's no scab left and If I can get then out today I can get to work tonite, haven't been able to get an appointment with anyone til next week so if I want them out i have to go to a and e hahah

You cold probably have them removed now I know he wants them in for 10-12 days (I am sure there is a reason for it). One girl here removed them herself I think it was her 2nd LL and said it was easy haha I am sure it's fairly easy. Do you have a walk in GP office near you? Xx
Amazing suture work !!! It looks like the scar is actually inside your nose !? Can I ask you , how is your nose , did lip lift affect it shape ? When I'm pulling my lip my nose becomes huge . Was it the case for you ?
I think its the same, if it has changed its not enough of me to notice, and yeah i think the scar will be invisible and just be abit pink for a while, very happy

thanks and I know this morning i dont even need any paracetamol feel great, wouldn't think I'd had any surgery x
