Stitches removal + scarring

WORTH IT
So I'm 11 days post-op, and the scarring looks pretty good. Everything is healed on the surface. I still have difficulties smiling - there's a strange feeling in the scarring area when I move my mouth too fast. It does, however, not hurt at all. There's simply a funny pulling sensation. I'm still very pleased with the results. My philtrum measures 1.2cm! Yeey!
My dad, whom I by the way did not inform about the procedure, told me I looked more "lovely" than usual when we met for Christmas. He could, however, not put his finger on what was different. Which speaks volumes as to how natural, yet different it looks! I feel a whole lot better wearing lipstick now, and best part: I don't have to overline my lips anymore. The cupid bow is more prominent, and looks amazing when putting on a little bit of highlight.
I'm exceedingly satisfied with the outcome, and ecstatic I had the courage to go through with it! For anyone who have any doubts about this procedure: don't! Dr. Osuch is the best plastic surgeon to choose for lip lifts. He makes the smallest incisions, and the scarring is barely visible - even without makeup. I can't stretch how happy I am!

Your lip s look amazing! what an improvement! He truly is an artist ! and like youve said, the insitions are incredibly small ,so you know once its healed, you wont notice it! you still have some healing to do,don t be worried if some days the lips look a bit more swollen ,its all normal, it takes a long time to totally heal ,just try not to stretch your mouth too much if you can for the first couple of months maybe ,so it all heals up nice and in place.I know that everyone who goes to this doctor will be just happy as can be, and as you said,he is very honest, something hard to find these day anywhere!Happy healing).

Thank you so much! Yes, I've noticed. Especially when I talk and laugh a lot, the next day I find my lips to be a little swollen. Also, when I smile too wide I get this strange feeling in the incisions area. Which is expected btw, I'm not worried at all, just very happy :)

OMG, you look amazing! Can you remember me, I was in the room with you? I'm so jealous, and so glad that I've booked to go back on the 9th January.

I have not taken any painkillers today, just antibiotics. It's both easier to talk and eat. I've been cleaning the incisions with alcohol with a q-tip. There are still some scabs in the incision area, though I believe that's normal? The swelling is completely gone in the upper lip, I think? Besides, there's a grain of tooth show when I open my mouth. So far, I like it very much! I was a bit worried previously as I had no tooth show, however, I now realize it was due to the swelling.

I loooove how natural it looks!! No duck lips. It looks like they're God given, but we all know the truth, don't we? ;)

I took off the dressing today, and cleaned the wound with alcohol. The swelling has considerably subsided in the upper lip, though my nose is still swollen. I took some painkillers early in the morning, but that's it. I don't feel any pain whatsoever, yet I'm still careful when I eat and laugh. Just to be on the safe side I decided to apply Mupirox ointment to the wound. As for now, I absolutely love how it looks like!
