WORTH IT
I had a lip lift done by Dr Osuch yesterday. Let me just start off by saying that he is a very kind man, with a good sense of humor. Extremely easy to talk to, as well as honest. Not to mention his staff! They were all very welcoming and warm.
One day before the procedure I had a blood test done in the clinic, taken by a lovely midwife. The next day I met for a consultation. Dr Osuch measured the distance between my upper lip and my nose. Turns out it was 16mm, not 19mm as I previously had thought. He told me he was going to remove 5mm, which I was pleased with.
After the procedure I was extremely happy with the result. Now, one day later, I've noticed that my upper lip has dropped a little bit - it almost completely covers my front teeth now. I'm unsure on whether it is due to the swelling, or the fact that it has indeed dropped a little bit. I hope it's the former. Though, Dr Osuch did inform me it would drop a little bit. Still and all, it's a bit early to tell.

I took off the dressing today, and cleaned the wound with alcohol. The swelling has considerably subsided in the upper lip, though my nose is still swollen. I took some painkillers early in the morning, but that's it. I don't feel any pain whatsoever, yet I'm still careful when I eat and laugh. Just to be on the safe side I decided to apply Mupirox ointment to the wound. As for now, I absolutely love how it looks like!

I have not taken any painkillers today, just antibiotics. It's both easier to talk and eat. I've been cleaning the incisions with alcohol with a q-tip. There are still some scabs in the incision area, though I believe that's normal? The swelling is completely gone in the upper lip, I think? Besides, there's a grain of tooth show when I open my mouth. So far, I like it very much! I was a bit worried previously as I had no tooth show, however, I now realize it was due to the swelling.
I loooove how natural it looks!! No duck lips. It looks like they're God given, but we all know the truth, don't we? ;)
