Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Plexar-9 months post : update
Hello x
I thought I’d post an update on the healing process ... it took about 3-4 months for the majority of the redness to disappear.. however I had few consultations at various laser clinics and I was told that the skin is definitely damaged .. you can see it under special light they use to asses the sun damage ... sadly this is the effect of this treatment . The redness still comes back when I go to sauna for example .. it’s not the result I was hoping for and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone . I have booked a laser face treatment which hopefully resolve the remaining redness .. I hope you are all healing well :) hugs x Sabi

Hi all I'm nomally not a person who writes reviews...
Hi all
I'm nomally not a person who writes reviews but in this case I was compelled to do that . I had a PLEXR upper lids treatment just over a month ago and wanted to warn anyone who's contemplating going ahead with this procedure . First .. it's horrendously painful . Something I wasn't quite expecting having a
desensitising cream applied prior to the procedure. It felt like my eyelids were literally burned with a flame welding gun or something of that sort . After the initial pain I went home .. with terrible brown burn marks but this is something I was fully aware of . What I wasn't aware was that two days afterwards my whole face would swell so much , especially eyes , that I could hardly see though them .. after another 3-4 days the selling have gone down . My eyes still felt very painful and the scabs weren't going anywhere. After about 10 days the scabs started to finally fall off ... underneath there was a super damaged and red skin . It looked so terrible I wanted to cry . The skin was uneven and cherry red . I had to resort to applying 3-4 layers of concealer and make up on order to be able to leave the house and not scare people. It's been a month since the procedure and up until few days ago the eyelids looked exactly the same .. zero changes .. all red and scarred . I am worried that it will actually leave permanent scars :( my eyelids only started to look a tiny bit less red 3 days ago but they are still very bad .. I called my clinic and asked how this was possible. What I was told was that it sometimes takes 2-3 months to fully heal .
At this stage I'm so so scared that it will leave permanent damage that I'm literally praying it will resolve ... I don't mind waiting another month or even two as long as the redness is gone .
I have attached few pictures for your reference.. I feel like this procedure is very unsafe and because it's new there are still not many reviews around .. all reviews I found before i decided to go ahead we're very positive. I simply can't that PLEXR is approved to be honest . Not only it is an excruciating painful , I can see very minimal results in terms of my upper eyelids being less droopy .. maybe one millimetre difference ... ? So overall horrendous ordeal , not worth the money and potential scarring for life .. I guess I learned my lesson with this one ???? Please don't do that !
