Hey everyone, i just want to start out stating...

hey everyone, i just want to start out stating that it is so nice reading other peoples reviews and updates, its nice to know that there are others with conflict skin! Its comforting to read other posts and relating to them, when everyone close to me cant relate, and try to persuade me saying, "its not noticeable", "you look fine", or my favorite, "i don't see anything". Where everyday can be a struggle and the mirror is the enemy. I was like 17 years old when i first started getting acne, and it progressed as i got older. I just thought i was that awkward teen, tried to keep it camouflaged with a good tan and makeup. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SO SELF CONSIOUS. like dramatically. I have spend thousands of dollars on my face over the years, so i decided i was old enough to pay to get my acne scars removed, and there is technology to do so. I first went to the centre pc and paid to have a consulation/ we agreed to go with six sessions of the RevLite Laser. which was 3000.00 (after medication and facials that i was not notified in the consulation). WORST PAIN EVER. each session was the worst time for me. such a painful experience and i have a high tolerance for pain. After my 6 sessions i was told initially i would have near perfect skin after that.. well that was a definite negative. I will admit my skin did look a lot better, smaller pores, virtually took away acne, i had the humongous ones that would be [RS bleep]. amd would get so big, and had large pores) I guess my pores were really clogged. But was not worth $3000.00 and the pain that i had to endure, and amongst all things, completely devasted me emotionally. I had anticipated such a different outcome, and i wasn't even expecting a miracle. lol. i think we all know that all to familiar anticipation when we try a new product and expect noticeably dramatic results, which rarely happens. I then did more research and discovered warsaw laser hair and vien clinic. I swore off all lasers before going in. I called to schedule the VI peel and was told i had do a free consulation first. During my consulation the woman who does the peels kept trying to persuade me to lasers, even though i kept telling her i wasn't interested in them. I wanted a peel, because there less risky and i feel the results are immediate and a pleasant experience, i also have payed an additional 20 dollars extra for extractions, and i feel great after them. there is peeling for 3 to 4 days, but jus be smart about scheduling. your not going to want to go out in public after you start shedding. But i have had 2 so far and i am loving the results, my skin is much smoother, pores are smallers, pitted scars are less noticeable. overall skin is much softer, even toned and brighter. I am going to keep up with these peels, hopefully i just need the 6. i don't mind the price, i mean its affordable because i am making it a necessity. will update in a few weeks!
