Worth It! But Dont Expect a Miracle
I'm in my early 20s. I am fit and healthy, but like most people, I carry a few extra pounds here and there From the moment I started puberty, I have been prone to fat in my stomach. It was stubborn, doesn't respond to dieting or workouts. When I did gain a little weight from stress or college or an injury, or if I was bloated from IBS, it made the area stand out that much more. It was by far my deepest insecurity. I can deal with a little fat on my thighs, but that bulging stomach bothered me to no end. I'm a dancer and it ruined my silhouette, and clothes never looked good.
After a year of researching and debating myself about the price I finally decided to take the plunge. I didn't want to waste any more of my young life hating a part of my body so much. I was determined to be a good candidate.
I paid for 2 treatments. I did not find it unbearably painful at all. Toward the end of each area there was a few moments where I wanted to squirm because it got quite painful, but that only lasted for a bit. However, I have quite a high pain tolerance and the technician was surprised that she was able to bring the machine up to its strongest capacity without me noticing or squirming or asking her to bring it down a notch. I played on my phone or rested my eyes the whole time, which was enough distraction for me when it did get a bit painful. The heat did make me sweat. Someone with a low pain tolerance would probably not be able to stand the highest setting, but that's just me guessing.
As I said, I paid for two treatments, but because am already a fit person without a ton of surface area on my stomach, I went in for a third time because you pay for a standard amount of rectangles (that's not what they're called but I cant remember what they're actually called) and I had 2 leftover. So I technically went in 3 times, but only paid for 2, which means my worst problem area (around my belly button) got treated 3 times.
My goal out of all of this was not to get a perfectly flat stomach. I know that I will never have that without excessive dieting. I just wanted to change my silhouette. I am in love with the results and have never been happier. I would say the time they tell you it will take to see complete results is accurate. I saw the biggest change after my 2nd treatment.
Keep in mind that in the photos I attached I have also made some minor dietary and exercise lifestyle changes, but nothing major. Even when I do gain a little weight, the new silhouette doesn't change. If I gain weight now, I tend to gain it more in my thighs than I used to, but I will take that any day over my stomach.
