I think it may have worked....??

$464
So I guess when you look at yourself in the mirror everyday it's hard to see subtle changes....I sent my friend a selfie the other day, who didn't know that I got the Botox, and he said "wow your face looks so slender!" I was shocked. Now I think I'm seeing it too but not sure if my mind is playing tricks on me lol. What do u guys think??

He was a nice man, I felt confident in his hands. I don't think the treatment worked but I don't hold it against him I'm not sure that the masseter muscles are the problem I think I just have too much fatty tissue! He answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed at all

Guys I just got my nose done about two about two...

Guys I just got my nose done about two about two months ago. My next step is get a more defined jawline and slim down my chubby cheeks but this has proven much more difficult than I thought. I've looked into chin lipo, mini lift, Botox in masseter, kybella, and buccal fat removal. All are very expensive, more than in can afford after my rhino. Also, I am 29 and actually very thin (112 lbs) and 5'3 so it's kind of awkward - it's like still baby fat but not. So weird! So my surgeon who did my rhino said he could do whatever I wanted if the above, but the buccal fat won't really affect the bottom portion of my face and could cause a gaunt look as I get older. He said a mini-lift usually isn't don't on someone my age, and chin lipo can only be done under my chin and now along my jawline where the problem really is, in my opinion. I met with two other local surgeons who both turned me away (which I actually appreciated- I'll post reviews on them too) saying I was too young and they basically plead with me not to get rid of my youthful appearance. This is to frustrating! So I went to south shore aesthetics because dr Kaplan has great prices and I figured I could give the masseter Botox a shot without breaking the bank too much. It doesn't appear to be working 10 days later so at least I didn't spend too much on it. I may try kybella next...I don't know what to do! Someone of my stature should not have such a double chin/fatty jawline.

I had the same problem very young too. Try seeing an orthodontist or an oral surgeon instead of a plastic surgeon. My had to do with a mal-aligned jaw which a regular orthodontist could not help with but he referred me to a jaw specialist who was able to correct the issue by widening the arch of my upper palate and then essentially breaking my lower jaw to fix the alignment. I'm in Illinois so I can't help you with a NY doc.
Wow that sounds terrifying but actually one of the plastic surgeons I consulted with referred me to a jaw specialist and I'm trying to make an appointment with her now!!! Thanks so much I'm glad I'm not the only one going through this!
hold on to those cheeks girl!!! they'll keep you looking youthful as you age!
LOL thats what everyone keeps telling me!!!
Agreed!
Maybe injections on your cheekbones would lift it.
You know one of the surgeons who I consulted with for my nose actually suggested that. I'm terrified to have surgical-looking, unnatural results. I feel like with celebrities and stuff the cheeks are the first thing I notice!!
I understand...but that overstuffed look generally only happens when a doctor puts too much filler in and/or puts the filler in the wrong place.
Masseters take a lot longer due to how strong those muscles are. Mine took about 5 weeks, where my normal Botox takes 3-5 days anywhere else on my face. I would look into Kybella, it defines the jaw a lot more without the gaunt look. I work in a medspa and hear these concerns a lot
Thanks so much!! I actually did my first round of kybella almost a month ago and have another appt in 2 weeks. I can only afford to do one vial at a time, so it's gunna be a long process, but I do hope it will give my jawline more definition. Thanks for posting :)
Yes ...exactly what she said!
Thanks!!! :) well see how it works!
Your baby fat on your face is caused from inflammation in your body. Remove gluten and dairy from your diet, and it will slim up dramatically
