After Pre-op

After careful consideration and much research, have decided to forego any implants. I know I will be disappointed with the size, but having the foreign objects implanted in me and having the reality of contraction, rupture, breast implant illness and future revisions, just isn't a trade off I'm willing to make. I've been researching fat grafting transfer to the breast but that has its own risks, and I'm just going to have to be happy with the lift. The way I look at it is I can do the lift now and heal, and if I'm really unhappy I can reconsider augmentation later. My surgery is scheduled for 11 days from now! I love my PS and feel very safe in his care. I trust he will do the best he can, and I'm looking forward to getting rid of most of my stretch marks, crepey skin and to having perky, lifted breasts! I also clarified the need for the lateral sutures of my abdominal muscles because one of the consults I had didn't feel I needed it. My PS highly recommends it to tighten, flatten and bring in the waist. Yes, he tells me it adds pain to the recovery process but it's really worth it. I trust him so I'm going to do it.

3 Days until Pre-op!

Researching constantly and writing a list of questions to ask my Doctor. It's scary researching risks and complications but it's important to be aware too. I realized I didn't take any side view before pictures so I'm adding those (they are hard to take by yourself). Want to ask this forum to share experience with the numbing medicine Exparel? Does anyone have any recommendations about that? Thanks in advance!

After 5 pregnancies it's time for this Grandma to do something for herself.
I am fairly fit and exercise 5 times a week. I am 5'10" tall and weigh 178. My goal weight is 168 and I feel confident I will get and stay there with a clean diet and regular strength training and cardio. I waver between extremely nervous and excited to get it past me. I am having a full TT, breast lift and probably some smallish saline implants, to be decided at my pre-op next Wednesday. My PS feels I have enough tissue to just do a lift and small reduction on the right )to even them out) but I fear I will be disappointed with the volume if I do that. And Hubby is voting for augmentation (of course-haha).

Provider Review

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Walnut Creek, California

After getting consultations with several qualified PS all with amazing qualifications, selecting this surgeon was a "no-brainer". He has a gift and talent; both with his surgical skills, as well as his people skills and bedside manner. I felt an absolute trust in him and am placing my goals in his skilled hands. My pre-op is Feb 22 and surgery is Mar 8
