Dr Degnan is amazing, he took the time to meet with my 3 times before I booked my surgury. The first appointment was a consult, he took the time to go over his credentials, and encouraged me to speak with other surgeons. He "interviewed himself" as he likes to put it. He then took the time to examin and measure my body, never making me feel judged or uneasy. He set realistic expectations for what my body would look like after surgury. The second consult was because I was told by another surgeon I needed a full body lift, this made me very uncomfortable and scared of getting surgery at all. I called Dr Degnan's office and explained what the previous Dr had told me, Linda his office manager got me an appointment with him the next day. I explained to him what this Dr told me and he looked me strait in the face and said he would not take me on as a patient if I asked him to give me a body lift. Stating it was unnecessary. He eased my nerves and made sure I understood everything about a mommy makeover. Finally my 3rd appointment was pre-op and payment. After surgery he checked in with me often, within 2 weeks I have seen him 3 times. His bedside maner is wonderful, very kind and soft spoken. He truly cares about his patients and wants the best result possible. Dr Degnan really is a wonderful surgeon and a kind person. I would recommend him to anyone. Do yourself a favor and set up a consult with him during your search for a surgeon, I guarantee he will exceed all of your expectations. Thank you so much Dr Degnan!
