I have always had unwanted sun spots and freckles on my face, but never knew what I could do to get rid of them. I client had given me a few products from her skin care line to try. I liked it but sadly I had over used the exfoliant on my cheeks causing rosacea. Seriously depressing, I am not opposed to wearing makeup at times but I didn't want to have to wear it all the time. I had met a nurse while I was with my friend getting botox that had offered me a free IPL treatment to treat my rosacea. I agreed with caution not knowing if I trusted lasers but at this point her confidence in success was motivation enough to give her a try. She did my whole face, not the most pleasant feeling kinda like a hot rubber band snapping at your face but tolerable. After I had it, it was like a mild burn on my face that lasted about an hour, went home relaxed and was fine. Later on about 8 hours I looked alil crazy, my spots became darker and darker. I thought I had made a horrible mistake. As the days progressed the spots became kinda ruff and crusty. Around day 6 they started flaking off. My rosacea was gone! But not just that my spots have lifted too. I have never looked this even in my life. I was so excited I booked my next treatment and started getting my botox from her. It has been 2 years and I get them about 3 times a year and now do fraxel twice a year Love love love it. But if you are going to do any laser make sure you go to someone who knows what they are doing. You can ruin your skin

Your results are amazing, is Jen Corbett associated with a particular spa or laser Center?
Not that I know of, she works at skin spirt. In two locations, walnut creek and Brentwood California
You look fantastic. But I noticed you said you do fraxel which is much more extreme and could account for how fantastic you look too. Is the "after" picture just after the IPL treatments and before an fraxel?
It was after the Fraxel, I noticed my skin was a lot more smooth after the fraxel but the spots scars and first rosacia was removed by the IPO

Great results!! I purchased online a package deal for two ipl sessions for sun spots and freckles. I've been told by people in the past it doesn't remove freckles, I'm hoping this is not the case for that's the only reason I purchased it. Even if it can't remove them im fine with it as long as they become lighter. Were your freckles completely removed
Or noticeably lighter?
Hey great to hear, two is about as many as I needed to dramatically reduce the pigment in my freckles. I would have to wear makeup like foundation to soften my freckles. Now they are so soft I could use a tinted moisturizer and they are covered
But honestly it can become an addiction make sure you don't go too high but strong enough to lift pigment for people can get burns from the ipl
Also you must stay out of the sun and always wear sunblock on your face or they will come back I get an ipl like twice a year now

Btw I don't know which tint moisturizer you use but what I use tht works for me is the BB cream from Garnier, I use the combination to oily skin one spf20. I Thought no way that has to be cheap but it's not bad. If you have any you can recommend im always willing to try new things.
Sadly , I went to my apointment and I was told I couldn't do the ipl yet, I had to wait two weeks for my skin to heal from using my tretinoin cream because it had irritated my skin, some slight redness and peeling :(
