12 weeks

Still get swelling above and below incision, but I am so in love with my new body. Still not at 100% when it comes to healing, but that doesn’t take away my love for my body. I still get a weird feeling in my stomach when I lay down, or lay on my side. I’m not a stomach sleeper but when I do lay on my stomach it’s a weird feeling. Still getting use to the numbness under my navel. I’m ready for the swelling to go away too. It’s not so bad in the morning, but when I get home from Work it looks bad (to me). I got the silicone strips from the doctor and I’ve been wearing it for about 3 weeks now and I don’t see a difference in color. It may be too soon, but I don’t think it’s going to work for me.

Post op Week 4-5

So the where my incision opened at stayed the same. Stuffing it with Iodoform didn't help at all. I started doing my own research at this point and remembered having another infection on my leg that put a hole in my leg and the doctor used a saline cleaner to clean it and the hole closed up. When I went back to the doc the following week, that's just what the nurse suggested and it's working! The hole is finally healing and closing up. I didn't take a pic when the hole was really big but I do have a pic when I stuffed it and a pic of how it look now.

Post Op day 20

So had an appointment today and I was really concerned about an opening on my incision. Turns out my body is rejected some of the sutures (which I kinda knew would happen) my body rejects always everything. When I went to get my belly button pierced years ago (before having my daughter) my body rejected it and I had to take it out. As you can see I was cleaning (as told by nurse) with peroxide dilated with water & covering it w a bandaid. I believe the bandaid was stopping it from healing and made it worst. So today she stuffed it with Iodoform Packing Strips. Just ready to be healed at this point.

Dr. Hakki is very professional! He's very down to earth and will be real with your results. He's not in it for the money, he really there to make you feel comfortable with your body and give you everything he can. Sweetie doctor here in Waldorf! I would recommend him to anyone in the Waldorf area especially if you're not trying to travel far after getting the procedure.
