How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Not Worth it
Sorry I've taken so long to update. I had the second session and it still bothered my eyes, even on a much lower setting and only using the forehead pad for half the time. I decided not to continue, since eyes are too precious. Although I initially saw some added definition in my lower face, I don't think it lasted. Since I didn't finish the treatment, I can't say if more sessions would've had a more lasting effect. However, I do think my forehead skin is thinner from this treatment and I don't recommend based on that alone. Sorry I don't have better news. I've had much better results from sculptra so I'll post a separate review on that.
Eyes are all better!
My eyes feel back to normal now 5 days out. My eye doc said he didn't see any inflammation and said my eyes looked fine. He thinks that the electrical stimulation may have engaged some of the tiny muscles of the eye and that what I was feeling was just fatigue of the muscles. He said if it bothers me I could just ask for a lower setting on the forehead next time. I'm wondering if the fact that i have a lower forehead may also play into it, so that the emface pad on the forehead was closer to my eyes than for others.
Overall, I'm very happy with the improvement I see in my lower face and excited to see how things will look after all 4 treatments are completed. I'm wondering if I should post before and after pics now or wait for the final result.
However, I'm still a bit nervous about possible fat loss from radio frequency and wondering if I should ask to stick with a lower temperature setting. I don't know why there are no emface reviews when it has been out for almost 6 months now. Where is everyone?

Waiting to Pass Judgment on Emface - Anyone Experience Eye Problems with It?
I just had my first session of 4 with emface. The good: I immediately notice some slight improvement in nasal labial folds and jawline, and eyebrows look slightly higher. The bad: the lines above my eyebrows look deeper and my forehead skin seems thinner, like you can see the bone above the brow more than before from my profile view. It's possible the increased muscle tone from the emface is causing this. It's not supposed to be hot enough to kill fat cells and my provider only went to 80% on the radiofrequency setting. However, the main thing concerning me is that my eyes have been sore and tired feeling since shortly after the treatment (for almost 48 hours now). It is like the eye sockets are sore. My eyeballs themselves do not look red, but I can see a swollen red spot on the inner corner of my upper eyelid that was not there before. In general, my eyes look like I'm sad or sick. I'm seeing an eye doctor tomorrow and will update (perhaps I have an unrelated eye infection but the timing seems so direct). I will also post pics when I have more time. I just wanted to post this immediately to see if anyone has had any similar experience with emface or other radiofrequency treatments causing eye irritation even when the eye area was not directly treated. Thanks for any input!
