I couldn't say a bad thing about my whole...
I couldn't say a bad thing about my whole experience.. I originally was going to go aboard for my breast augmentation but as time got closer to my procedure date I decided it wasn't a good thing to do. I had enough money saved to get it done in Perth so I didn't want to take the risk as my health is more important then paying half the price and something going wrong. I just felt 110% more comfortable staying in Perth to have surgery.
I had previously been to see the nurses for a information consultation a year ago at Breast Assure, so I decided to give Breast Assure a call and spoke with Dr Vij"s secretary Kate who was great help! She liaised with Dr Vijay to slip me in for a consultation within the week due to my situation.
Dr Vijay is very softly spoken, polite and understanding doctor, who listens to everything you want to achieve by having breast augmentation surgery. I personally wanted to achieve a very natural look (where people look and question if your boobs are real or not) Dr Vijay listened to what I wanted to achieve then advises what he thinks would look best for them results I wanted. I tried on some implants under a top to see a rough size frame and decided to go with 330CC under the muscle/ moderate plus/ gel-smooth implants.
Dr Vijay understood my reasons of changing my mind about going for surgery aboard and managed to fit me in for surgery 2 weeks after my consultation as I had already had time booked off work.
Day of surgery I was very nervous, I went for my procedure at South Perth Hospital and all the nurses we lovely and very friendly. Dr Vijay came in to see me before going into surgery to draw lines across my chest.
After I woke up from surgery it felt like a lot of pressure on my chest but that was expected, Dr Vijay came in to see me a few hours after surgery to check how I was feeling and to see if I was feeling okay. I stayed at the hospital for one night after surgery.
Dr Vijay then came to see me again before I left the hospital the day after surgery to check on me and the incisions. I was quite sore for the first week after surgery but after the first two weeks things slowly start to go back to normal.
The first week, second week and third week after post opp you go see Dr Vijay and his nurses for a check up on the incisions and change the dressings. Then after 6 weeks you can stop wearing the surgical bra and you go for another check up with Dr Vijay as he just wants to make sure everything is healing probably.
I am now just over 6 months post opp and have been back to see Dr Vijay for another check up, my scars are hardly visible and I am sooooooooooooooo happy with my results.
I would recommend Dr Vijay to anyone for Breast Augmentation surgery, he listens to what you want, he makes you feel comfortable, your results will be awesome and he is a lovely doctor!
