Had my first session almost a week ago - will wait and see

Will Wait and See

Have had incontinence issues since I was a teen and they definitely got worse after having kids. After hearing about the vaginal rejuvenation therapies that seem to help many others I thought I would try it out. I found a local medical and had my first session almost a week ago. It was awkward of course but the woman who ran the machine chatted away helping me to relax alot more. They had a patient table i layed on and they gave me a skirt type gown and a fluffy blamket to cover with. She did say that things felt tighter down there by the time she was done as the instrument had less wiggle room which sounded positive to me.
I did suddenly end up getting a very heavy period the next day. I was 1/2 way between periods so it was surprising. I have also found that my bladder seems to be weaker currently. I'm hoping that things will improve as I know through research that it is supposed to improve wirh time.
I have been looking online to see if anyone else experienced an early heavy period after or a weaker bladder but have not found anything besides people saying that it just hasn't worked for them.
So I will write more after my next session and cross my fingers to see an improvement.

2nd Votiva session done - hoping 3rd time is the charm

Went for my 2nd session just before Christmas. I haven't noticed much of a difference - possibly a very slight bit more control when i sneeze but I'm not sure as I don't sneeze often . I'm hoping that after the 3rd session there will be noticeable change. Booked last session for Jan 23, 2023. Will post an update after that.

Had to reschedule my 3rd appointment to next week. I'm pre-menapausal so my period is no longer predictable and it decided to show up the other day. Definitely not a procedure to do when it's that time of month.

3rd session

Went for my last Votiva session. Sadly I am not noticing a difference. I was really hoping it would help out. Reading various sites there are some places that say it could take up to 5 sessions but the majority say between 1 and 3. It is costly so I'm not sure I want to add on more sessions - if there was improvement at all I would but I just don't have any. I am happy (and a little jealous) for all the women that it has helped.
