I've gained and lost a lot of weight during my life - 20 lbs here or there, 70 lbs with my first pregnancy, and 35 lbs with my second pregnancy. I've been eating clean and exercising regularly, but nothing helped get rid of the saggy skin that gave me a muffin top when I sit down. I also had lots of deep stretch marks. A friend recommended Dr. Franckle for a consultation. I liked his personality and looked through pictures and reviews of his work. We agreed on a tummy tuck with muscle repair and a breast lift without implants. I didn't want to have to replace implants for the rest of my life. I also didn't need lipo, per the doctor. I had my procedure on 4/11. The pain was expected, but is really unpleasant. Getting up and down is really hard. Every movement has to be carefully controlled and planned, or there's more pain.
I got a shower today as instructed. I thought the soap and water on the incision sites would be the worst, but that didn't bother me. It was getting out of the compression garment and bra that sucked. I almost passed out while my fiance was removing them.
I can't wait until I've healed a bit and can see my results. My breasts are definitely smaller, but much perkier. I had a lot of hanging skin that had separated from the breast tissue. My stomach is smaller but swollen. My belly button looks like it got beaten to a pulp and then stitched. I also hadn't seen my belly button in a few years because of weight loss/gain and the way my skin fell.
I'll post pictures of the after effects when I can.

I'm feeling very tired and swollen today, and I can tell I'm doing too much. My incision is hurting. My stomach is very swollen and I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's healed. The belly button looks strange still.

Those first few days are tough. I did nothing for a week per my ps instructions. Only up for bathroom and I could do a lap around my house and get a drink but that was it! Rest rest rest! Let your body heal. I actually slept sooo much those first 5 days. My body needed it. I watched a ton of movies. You shouldn't be doing anything at 3 days post op girlfriend!! Recovery is a long process. I am 4 weeks po today and the swelling is real and I still take naps.:) My body is needing it. I think that is what has made my recovery pretty smooth. Take it easy on yourself. Patience is the hardest thing with the tt. I hear it takes up to a year to see results. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks. I'm moving around better now but still sore, 12 days PO. My swelling is still unbelievable. I can't wait to get a break from the compression garment - my PS said 4 weeks night and day, then I can move to just nights.

I am 5 weeks po tomorrow and the swelling is real. I started exercising the last few days and am blown up like a puffer fish. It is kind of a mind game swelling so much but I guess I knew that was part of the package! Yes it is so nice to be able to choose when to wear it! Glad you are feeling better! The 3 week mark was a turn around for me! Then a little set back once you are exercising and doing more. Glad you are feeling better!
