18 Year Old Male, Gynecomastia - Voorhees, NJ

Growing up I was told by my pediatrician that male breasts were common. She explained they could be reduced with proper diet, exercise & usually after puberty, but She also said it could be hereditary, which Was something I feared because my grandfather had the same problem. For years I exercised, watched my calorie intake & didn't see any difference. I always wore layers of clothing, hated going to the beach, and avoided many outings, because I was embarrassed of how I looked. My parents understood how much this was affecting my life & agreed to pay for the procedure before I left to college. My mother searched around & My father took me to the consultation at South Shore Plastic Surgery. Dr. Vasisht took the time to explain the procedure & answered all of our concerns. Within two weeks I was scheduled for surgery & I really can't thank Dr.Vasisht & his staff enough! Not only was the surgery a complete success, But my experience was incredible. Dr.Vasisht himself called that evening & the next day to check on how I was feeling. Beryl & Megan also checked on me & reached out to my mother on several occasions while I was away at college just to make sure everything was going well. It was obvious they really cared.
