Calern
WORTH IT$6,000
I had breast implants for 20 plus years and wanted them removed for health reasons. I hesitated doing it because I was afraid of the disfigurement it might cause. I work in the healthcare field and had heard good things about Dr. Franckle so I went to see him. I knew the minute I walked into his office this was the place for me. All of the staff are so kind, compassionate , and really respected my privacy. Dr F examined me and gave me all my options. He explained that we could remove the implants, and if I wanted to he could transfer fat to my breasts to make them fuller. Well ,I was totally on board with this idea since I had some belly fat for him! I had both procedures and couldn't be happier! Dr F did an awesome job! I may not be a D cup but I'm healthier and look pretty darn good!

Thank you so much for sharing your opinion about your doctor.

I would love to add your experience to the Fat Transfer community, but it would be helpful if you could provide some more detail about your experience with your procedure/treatment. I suggest adding before and after photos - optional of course, so that other community members can use your review as a guide throughout their journey.

Looking forward to your response so I can add your review to the Fat Transfer community!

Hi! How long did recovery take for you?
February 14, 2015
Not long at all. I wore spanx over my tummy and thighs which provided pressure and decreased the swelling. The breast area was only a little sore from the injection marks. I did not require any pain medication which was awesome! I think I went back to work 4 days later.( This was for the fat transfer- the implant removal was done 2 months prior.) It"s been a year and some of the fullness has gone down but I couldn't be happier. It doesn't look like I had any surgery at all, just smaller breasts. I feel healthier not having the implants. I wish I had tried push up bras 20 years ago; I would have never got the implants! Good luck!

Ditto on the push up bra! After my BA those clothing items never appeared on my shopping list again! On the contrary I did all I could to hid them. Was your explant procedure uncomplicated by multiple surgeries, cc and the like?

Just the one surgery for the explant in an outpatient surgery center. Didn't take him long but I had drains in each breast. I had no problem going about my day with the drains. I used the stretchy bras and just pushed the drain in it . My recovery was very easy. I had an indentation in one of my breasts which is why I had the fat transfer.

Would you be kind enough to pm me?

Hi there, I'm having difficulty receiving my PM's because of a notification glitch on the site. Not certain you tried to contact me but I did want your opinion as I'm considering Dr. F for explant with lift. My concern is that he only does explant procedures several times annually and my case is complicated by capsular contracture. I was wondering if your implants had capsular contracture (hardened) too since they were in for a lengthy time period (same here) as this adds to the degree of difficulty with explant. During the consult he seemed confident that my procedure was within his scope of practice but I'm still debating. Thanks so much!

Hi- My implants had the polyurethane covering on them which was meant to prevent contractures, which it did. So my implants were fine. My family has a history of autoimmune diseases and I felt the implants would push me in that direction. I felt very comfortable with Dr Franckle's abilities. I was really expecting my breasts to be ugly and deformed after removing 25+ year implants but they look great thanks to Dr F. I think you should trust that he will make you look beautiful again!
