39, 2 Kids, Always Had Huge Boobs, Told Myself I Had to Do It Before I Turned 40! Voorhees, NJ

I have always hade huge boobs! The girls in middle school thought I stuffed my bra. I'm only 5' 11" and was a size 36 H. After 2 kids, I told myself that I needed to have it done by the time I turned 40 this November! So I had my surgery on the 18th! 5 days post op now. Pain hasn't been too bad. I got my drains out on day 3. Turning black and blue now. I feel very unsettled without the sports bra on. I have no feeling in the lower half of my breasts. They are very square in shape right now. I know that will change. I felt a little depressed today. Hoping tomorrow is better!

1 week post op. I got out of the house and took my first drive to Target! I feel good except for a mild headache. When I wake up in the morning I'm pretty sore and swollen, but that seems to lessen after a few hours. I'm only taking pain meds before bed. Unfortunately, it's mainly to help me sleep. I have always been a stomach/side sleeper, so sleeping on my back is not fun. My bruises seem a little less purple. I have feeling everywhere except the bottom of my breasts. My surgical tape is still on, so I haven't really been able to inspect my incisions. I get my stitches out on Monday. I hear that it's painful. I am not looking forward to it!

Went to the PS today. Everything looks good except for my right lower vertical and T intersection incision . The nurse left that suture in because she was worried if she cut it that it would split open more. She recommended letting it air out for a good hour each day. Just hoping it won't get worse!
