Vollure for Lips - Not Worth It
I have twice had vollure injected in my lips. The first time late December 2018, 1 syringe, by a PA at a medical spa who's instagram I had been following. Initially, I had some minor bruising and swelling as expected. I slept in an elevated position and used arnica gel, tablets and ate lots of pineapple 2 weeks before, during and 2 weeks after. It healed completely in about two weeks. Less than two months later my lips were back to normal. Vollure is supposed to last over a year. I began to doubt the quality of the injector.
So in May 2019, I went to a highly qualified PA who is sans instagram etc at a derm office. She injected 1 syringe in to my lips and another syringe around the lips as she said I would end up with a shelf if I didn't. I think she was right. I followed the same procedure at the first time with the same results. Less than two months later lips right back to normal.
Anyone else have this experience? I wanted vollure because of the long lasting quality and it was what both injectors recommended. And it's not the cheapest filler to use either but also the only one I've used. Totally bummed out and truly a waste of time and money.
