Vollure Lip Filler

WORTH IT$650
Yesterday I went to the doctor for lip enhancement and she suggested Vollure, based on what I hope to accomplish. I’ve watched so many YouTube videos that I was pretty aware of what was going to happen, and it was exactly how I thought it would be. She only used one syringe, she said she’s rather do less than too much the first time. Obviously, I’m hoping that I have a good result and don’t have to go back for more. Vollure is quite expensive! I’m sure I could have gotten it for cheaper somewhere else but this doctor knows what she’s doing and she did the injecting herself. One syringe was $650 and she said it should last one year to 18 months. I’m hopeful I will like the final result because I don’t think I can afford two syringes once a year.
So the actual injections did sting, but nothing I couldn’t handle. Not something I’d want to do often though! For the next couple of hours I iced my lips a lot to try and keep them from bruising and swelling too much. Vollure is not supposed to swell like other fillers I’ve read. By last night, they we’re beginning to swell with each passives hour and they were uncomfortable, like a stretched feeling and dry. That was probably from my applying ice for a couple of hours. I have pretty sensitive skin to ice. They were also sore but I never took anything for pain. I’m sure the soreness was simply from all the injections. Kind of like when you go to the dentist and you get a lot of numbing shots in your mouth, that hurts worse the next day than the dental work sometimes. This morning my lips are swollen, but they feel a bit softer and I feel like I can move them more. I’ve been applying Vaseline since yesterday and this morning they peeled a tiny bit. I do have some bruising but I’m hoping I can just cover it up with a little bit of concealer or lipstick. I have a few tiny lumps on the inside of my lips where they were injected but I’m sure that will go away with time. I think by this time next week I’m going to get the end result as far as size goes.

One Week (tomorrow)

I think all the swelling is gone, there may be a bit of residual if any. I don’t know if I’ve just gotten used to them, but I feel like I needed a bit more than on syringe, especially now that the swelling is gone. They look bigger with lipstick on, which is still uncomfortable to wear, the only thing that feels good is Vaseline and I’m guessing it’s because my lips are stretched and feel chapped, even if they aren’t. I still have a couple of bruised spots, which should be gone in another week. The one thing I don’t like are the little bumps on the inside of my lips, especially the top lip. I message them just a little per instructions but it’s not helping much. Again, it’s supposed to be gone by two weeks.

Two Weeks
conniecmrApril 26, 2019
Two weeks and a couple of days after lip fillers and I think it’s pretty safe to say this is my result. I started massaging out the lumps and bumps on the upper and lower lips about 10 days after injection. I wish I would have started a little sooner because massaging does help. I still have them, but they’re small on the upper lip and I don’t even notice them anymore. The bottom lip on the inside has larger lumps that are not diminishing with massage and it only makes them sore, so I’ve stopped. It will probably lessen over time or it could be that I’ve always had some bumps and lumps and never noticed before because I wasn’t looking for them. My lips feel soft and feel like my own, just a little soreness in the bottom lip still probably from massaging. I do feel it was worth it. Although subtle, my lips look fuller and very natural. I’m sure I will have them done again next year.
