Had my first Vanquish today. The (R) thigh was not uncomfortable just a little hot, however the fan kept it cool. The Left thigh was the problem, It was three times as painful, the fans weren't helping and I could hardly stand it. 10 hours after having my first procedure the left thigh is still painful, feel like a knot is in leg and I notice a section that looks like a large swollen square. I'm not sure what to say? I did tell the esthetician of the increase in pain, she said it's normal and offered me another fan. I asked if other women have this pain and if anyone has ever had to stop "only one". I sucked it up, thinking I was acting like a baby. I'm not sure why my left thigh is having a differently reaction.

I just did my first treatment and I can barely put pressure on my thighs it it sore red and I have a lump too how long did it take to go away?

I have had 5 treatments. I can see a definite difference on the sides. However there is an area on my tummy that is bigger (fatter) on one side. This is the area that I had problems with too intense heat. Naturally the skin surface was closer to the plates on that side. I asked the technician to keep moving the plates further away from that side until I was comfortable. I have had other hot spots so I would not consider this a painless treatment. Don't feel like a baby !
I also have a lump in the area I felt the most heat in. It is starting to get smaller but if I press on it, it does hurt. I am told that this will slowly get better and to keep drinking water ! I will have one more treatment. I like the results so far and I am hoping that the fat will continue to dissolve with time. I am paying $400.00 per treatment.

Second and Third treatment

My second treatment went without any problems, (just painful lumps). However, my third treatment left me with a burn to my (R) thigh.

I had that happen to me when i did my lower abdomen. What I found out that helped and made a world of a difference was hydration. I made sure I drank a lot of water the day before treatment and the day of before the treatment. I also made sure I had no caffeine the day of the treatment. After my treatment, they started to massage the treated area with a deep massager. It looked like a car buffer. This deep massage stimulates the lymphatic system and flushes the dead fat cells. This slight change that I made, was what made the world of a difference for me. My results were amazing and improved even after my last treatment. I hope this helps!
