I agree. A lot ppl don't understand bcz overall I'm in good shape but that loose skin bugs me. I just had my TT on wed & I still haven't seen it but the doc says I will love it. I'm in the binder now, it's annoying tho lol ;)

If was thinking clearly I should have asked to see it. Everything happened so fast b4 I knew it I was in the recovery room. He said I can take the binder off & look but now I'm scared, lol. I'll just wait till my app on Tuesday. I hope I'm brave nuff to post pics, girl the way it looks at 1st freaks me out so I may hv to wait a min ;)

BTW, the drains are annoying but it's really better in the long run IMO. I went to the highest reputable place here in Nashville from a medical perspective bs I knew a few PS personally & they told me about my doc. There are other methods but the drain method really ensures proper healing & prevents swelling. BTW, if you are like me you will be in bum mode for a min & I planned on this so then whats an extra few days really. The drains are not that bad as far as pain, you don't feel them, its more mentally disturbing for me so I try not to think about them. Not showering sux but your doc may use a different method & let u shower. Ive seen some ppl do to much too soon & Im not sure who their docs are but this is major surgery & when they say take it easy & I mean take it easy. On day post op 9, I still need a few days b4 I could physically go anywhere. Maybe I'm just extra cautious but that's just me. im following all of my docs orders 100%. I don't have to do the most right now ;)

I'm just getting this comment haha and I agree with our 100% drains are a good thing and mine doesnt bug much at all. I only have one so I guess that's easier than 2;)) thanks for the feedback, you rock!

The only thing I'm nervous about is my scar placement. I'm afraid it will end up too high:( yours is perfect so I'm crossing my fingers it looks something close to that!

Yes they are! You are so right! I feeling better today and it'll get better each day. I get my catheter out tomorrow and my drain 7 days from now:( thanks so much for all the info:)

Hey, may u ask why you have a catheter?

My dr doesn't like his paitents to get up and down for the first 3 days. And wants me to drink lots of water so he just leaves the catheter so we will drink water and not have to get up and down a lot:)

Yes you will! It's such a relief just being done and in the road to recovery!
