Painful but So Far Good. Wouldnt Get It Done Again on the Day of my Period - Virginia

Today is day 9. By Day 6 my face was 95% back to normal....By day 7 it was 100% back to normal - still a little peeling but swelling gone and face feels and looks great!! First thing I noticed was all my freckles were gone! the chin area where I wanted to some of the acne resurfaced is still there but maybe a little smoother....not a huge difference. My pores seem smaller and my face seems to have less deep lines (in my forehead) all is all I am very very happy with what Melissa did! She did an excellent job ! Now with that said ..... It was 4 days of a very very swollen face - day one, was extemely painful. You can not plan on going out of the house for at least 4-5 days. Not sure I would do it again, as the down time and pain was a bit much. If you do have it done - plan on being out of sight for at least 4-5 days...stock up on advil and ice packs. you will look better when its all done!!

I didn't have really any pain during the procedure - it was like a little bit of stinging but nothing horrible...I must have a high tolerence of pain, it was after the procedure that it began to sting really badly and swelling..... the pain was awful way into the night like I wanted to rip my face off - and the swelling got worse even with NSAID's - day two, the swelling was the really bad around my eyes and whole face my eyes were swollen shut the morning of day 3...that has not gone down around my eyes but I can open them now. I'm on day 3 (night) the swelling has remained around my eyes the worse. As far has the peeling, it has begun. and getting white heads all over the place, on top of that I'm getting a cold sore on my chin, about the size of a quarter - taking meds for it but wasn't told to prior to treatment, wish I would have - face tonight is peeling in more areas than others....my main concern is the swelling, face is also begining to itch. More posting later - Still usure if this is all worth it .....downtime is definitely at least a week, 7 full days of not going out -

I had the photo laser and pixel done back to back yesterday - Not painful during the procedure but my face was burning and painful and kept on swelling into the night - kept it as cool as possible. woke up this morning and felt no more burning pain - face still very very swollen. But no pain! The laser has turned brown and reddish in someareas - I think it looks good but it is only say 2 - I will post more about the results - Im 46 and wanted a younger fesh look minimal scaring from acne in my chin area and a few aun spots and freckles.....I will post more as the days progress - so far Im happy with the experience.
