Updating to add my Before shots

In my before shots my nose was much smaller and the profile much more flattering and feminine and the frontal view also more feminine and smaller

In 2005 I had surgery to correct a deviated septum and to remove a hump on my nose and the tip refined. It was a 'closed' surgery preformed by an ENT. I was very pleased with the result and would never have had another surgery. Although a few years later I had an injury which then caused me to have another deviated septum and my left nasal cavity collapsed. I had issues breathing that worsened so I decided to go to a renowned plastic surgeon that had nothing but rave reviews. When I met with him, he gained my trust when we spoke about improving my breathing ability and refining the tip ever so slightly to make it more feminine. I never expected to have a nose after this surgery that was larger and more masculine than before the first surgery I had in 2005. I am 15 months post-op now and was told I'm about 90% healed, and I still have some swelling. My nose now is asymmetric, with a dent on the right side, and a very bulbous tip. Additionally, my breathing is still poor and I get nose bleeds which I never had before along with large chunks of dried bloody mucus that I blow out. Lastly, my voice has changed and my husband says I sound very nasal now which drives him crazy. I am still holding out hope that my tip refines and becomes smaller and that the asymmetry evens out and I develop a more symmetrical nose, but as the months go by and my nose shape worsens, I'm getting doubtful....

Provider Review

Name not provided

Until I decide what I'm going to do regarding another surgery, I will not review my surgeon. I will say however, I think he may have hurried my surgery because I had more than one procedure he was doing and I was not his only surgery that day. I'm sure his rave reviews were well deserved, but I will have to wait and see.
