Done...worst decision I've made.
This procedure is probably good for straightening crooked teeth, but not for correcting bit issues. It is a money making scam for most providers, as they do nothing but make impressions and send them to Invisalign to have the aligners produced. I am happy for those of you who have experience success with this procedure, but I have spoken with more people who have not. Lesson learned.
2.5 years into the process
I'm finishing up round 2 of aligner sets. My teeth are still not where they should be and I wish I'd just gone with traditional braces at this point. If they recommend a 3rd round of aligners, I will probably do it, as I want my teeth to be right. I would never recommend Invisalign based on my experience. The process has taken twice as long as initially predicted, and my alignment isn't even close to where it should be. Hope more of you have a better experience.

Day 2 of the second set. Still not thrilled with having to take them out to eat or drink ANYTHING but water. Very annoying. I love to cook, but I also love to taste as I prepare...not happening with the aligners. Also having an issue with very chapped lips and dry mouth, although I am drinking massive amounts of water.
So far the experience is less than optimal for me...but I have a ways to go, so we'll see how things progress and what improvedment comes.
