12 week pics... Not sure how I feel

Well I've passed the 3 month mark and Dr. P says that's when the swelling should get better, but that remains to be seen. Although its not as bad as before, the swelling and pain that goes along with it is still there. Hopefully I will see a change soon and this waist will go down. I'm now down to a 3x small garment at night with just an x small during the day, however I'm not seeing any progress. I guess I'm just out of patience. I'm still all over the place emotionally with this. Some days I feel like I look great and sometimes I want to slap myself for wasting money. For now I will keep getting my weekly massage in an effort to loosen up the hardness in my stomach and hope that things will get better soon.

Almost 10 weeks and still trying to get it right

I haven't updated in a while as I have just been over this entire process. I went to see Dr. Perry last week just to get his take on my healing. I don't know what possessed me to roll my happy behind up in there with taking some pain meds first smh... He started pushing and prodding and it hurt so much!! Then he pulled out that dang medicine ball, I gave him the look of death. Yes at 10 weeks my midsection is still sore. Needless to say, I am still very swollen. My waist is holding around 27" and Dr. P thinks it will go down another inch or 2 :). This has definitely been a ride. I still have my good and bad days but overall I am happy with my results thus far. My biggest issue is keeping my jeans from falling down, but I will take that. Anyway happy healing ladies and best of luck to everyone taking this journey.

Healing is such a process...

Well it's been a while since I updated, partly because the healing process has been so frustrating and I've been trying to get back into the flow of things. It's 5 weeks today and I'm still satisfied with my results. Unfortunately the swelling is still an issue. If I move too much my stomach swells. If I stand I one spot too long my back swells. Oh what is a girl to do. I have finally found someone who can provide a decent massage so hopefully it will help with the swelling, fluid, and tenderness. I'm am, however, still trying to find that perfect compression garment (seamless) so that I can wear it under my clothes. Problem is, I can't find an x-small to save my life :(. Any suggestions you ladies may have are well welcomed. Well ladies happy healing to all. Off to find a great tailor because nothing fits except stretch pants lol.
