I am 54 years old. I worked hard and lost quite a bit of weight. I was concerned about my neck and was told I was a good candidate for thermitight by my PS. I followed all pre-op and post-op instructions to the letter. It made my neck much worse, I now have crepey loose skin with a texture change, my jowls are worse, numbness from jaw to mid neck. I lost volume in my lower face. I have a lump on the left side that's painful. It aged me : (The only thing I can say is be careful, it's not as benign a procedure as they say. Really research. It might work for you...or sadly you could end up like me.

Very interesting review. I noted the fee you paid is a fraction of the going rate. You make an interesting point, that is about your loss of facial volume. I have spent much time and money on building volume. I'm wondering how the technician or surgeon can tightn sagging skin and muscle yet leave the much desired fatty pad unscathed. Thank you for your wise words. I think any procedure should involve much deliberation on the part of the recipient. Please keep us posted on your follow-up.

I just had the procedure on Friday, along with jawline liposuction. My lower face & neck are quite swollen so it's way too early to see how this will turn out. I went to a doctor that was one of the first to provide this procedure - he really knows what he's doing. Maybe in your case, it will get worse before it gets better? They say it takes at least 4 months to see any significant result, and then it continues to improve up to 6-9 months. Wishing you all the best :-))

Lmarym~Can you tell me the area your Dr. practices? I have been trying to find someone nearby to discuss Thermi RF procedures. I look forward to any updates you can give us! "Filled Out" - Thank you for this information. I'm so sorry to hear about your negative experience! I wish you the best in your future healing.

Hi Britt44, if you live in LA I can give you the name of my doctor. It is Day 4 for me since the combo jawline lipo & ThermiTight and still quite a lot of swelling and some light bruising. This is definitely not a "no downtime" procedure... keep in mind when scheduling!

Hi Lmarym, I am considering Thermi RF and I live in LA. I am concerned about volume loss since my face has thinned out over the years, but I really want tightening in my neck/lower-mid face. Have you seen much improvement over the last few months? Thanks!

I had the thermitight procedure done on February 13th. I also saw an increase in loose skin under my neck after the procedure, looking way worse that before. My Dr said it was fluid and would be absorbed, some of it has. At almost 5 weeks post procedure I really don't notice much change from before the procedure. I still have some numbness and soreness along my jaw line. I'm still waiting to see the improvement I was told about.

Thank you for this frank review. It is very helpful to hear of the problems people incur after this procedure. I am looking for something to improve my neck area and it is looking more and more like a neck lift unfortunately. Has anything improved for you now? Please keep posting on the longer term results as maybe things will tighten a bit with time.
Sorry to hear you weren't happy with your results. What did your provider say about the changes?
