What areas of your face did you have injected?
All over ...8 days now noticing less swelling ..bruising gone ..husband has noticed some improvement
Keep us posted on everything- do you see a difference?
Yes ..anxious to see full result .Dr says swelling is normal ..
I found this in the Q&A and thought it might be helpful:
Thanks ..swelling is just about gone about 15 days post injections...very slight bags under eyes ..hoping that disappears soon.. Pleased with results but worried when I see some people have had problems years later w/granulomas ...I am hoping and praying that doesn't happen...
I hope that doesn't happen either. I'm glad you are happy with your results so far :)
Still have very slight bags/swelling under my eyes slmost 4 weeks after injection ..do not believe it was worth the cost ...
Will see what dr says in a week!
Did you have Artefill injections ? If so I was told it takes 3-4 months.
Yes i did 8 syringes i posted a comment saying that dr said "he hasnuild a foindation and nowbi need 8 more syringes at $6,400 i dont think so ..
Has built a foundation now he says i need 8 more syringes if anything i may get a medium lift but 16 syringes scares me!
I would wait. Artefill is supposed to promote collagen growth and can expand. This can take 3-4 months.
I have NO intention if doing any more!
Yes
Replied in another section month followup Dr compared pics some improvement Dr says"OK we have built a foundation now u need 8 more syringes to improve here and there" i am afraid to gave 16 syringes of Artefil and also that would be $6,400 more may consider a medium lift at some point to get improvement of jaw line and neck but thats about it!
He mentioned it being a "foundation" also. I think he likes to go slow....BUT....it is very costly.
as I said $6400 was extremely expensive ..I expected more results and he didn't mention it being a foundation at first.
I have replied before, but I would wait. I am at 3 months and the one syringe I had did expand a bit. This product expands and at 3-4 months is when you should really see the results. I do not understand doctors adding more before the 3 month mark. Good luck to you. I hope you will see improvement in time as I did.
This could end up costing more than a facelift.
Hi Ritasrg. Can you tell me how many mls are in one vial? Did you have 8 vials for $6,400? I'm trying to work the price out compared to temporary filler. I was always told to avoid permanent fillers because of the potential for them to move or give problems at a later date. Why is this filler different? What does your doc say about them and is the filler permanent or just lasts a few years? Thanks.
True if idid everything he suggested would cost $roughly$18,000 including the medium lift
It does have its risks my doc says its the way its administered ..i believe studies gave show effects still there after 5 yrs not sure exactly how many ml many 2-3?? From looks of syringe ...yes i had 8 vials for $6400 and my husband days he doesnt see $6400 improvement he didnt see befote and after pics i see some improvement i expected more also i still have slight swelling one side of face after 6 wks
Yes true
I am having it done Tuesday by Dr. Castellano, I am concerned about future problems also.
If you are concerned about future problems, can you not have temp filler for now?
Could you please find out how much Artefill in mls is in one vial for me please? Thanks and good luck. Also, Ritasrg suggests her doc says problems can arise due to the way the product is administered, perhaps you could find out more details about this to put your mind at rest? Please post anything you find out as I would like to use this product.
I am going to the same doctor as Ritasrg, I live in the same community in FL. Each vile (syringe) is $995 for the first 2 syringes, I need 2 syringes to do the nose to mouth lines (nasal labial). I am concerned about getting "granulomas" from Artfill/Bellafill. Artfill is now called Bellafill, I do not know why there was a name change.
Let me know of your results! I am going back to dr also if i can i will come tues ..want him to look at the slight swelling
What time is ur appt
Temp fillers do not last too long maybe one year if u are lucky and expensive
Ok, thanks for the price. If either of you could check the amount of product per vial (1,2 or 3 ml?) when you see him next, then that would be helpful as I can then compare it to temporary fillers. Thanks!
Price is $995 per vial. The price is somewhat lower after the first 2. Hope this helps.
Temporary fillers are less money
I think temporary fillers end up costing more as it is temporary. Fat injections is also another permanent alternative. I recommend only going to a doctor who is highly skilled with fat injections, with many before and after photos.
What area/s have you had filled?
All over ...he stated he did the foundation now he has to tweak the rest fof another $6400 i dont think so
All over 8 syringes
