I have battled with weight loss/gain all my life...
WORTH IT$11,000
I have battled with weight loss/gain all my life but after having five C-Sections there was no way I would ever get rid of this stomach alone. We scheduled a consult with Dr. Shlomo Widder in February when we left the office my husband and I were excited to move forward with the tummy tuck. Dr. Widder suggested reading the book Sugar Busters I immediately started making life style changes. The pre surgery appointment scheduled for April 8, 2016 went great and surgery was scheduled for April 13th. By the time surgery day had arrived I had lost 33 lbs just from following the book suggested by Dr. Widder. Wooohoooo After surgery I was down an additional 12 lbs (all that extra skin) and at one month post op I'm down an additional 8 lbs! Dr. Widder is amazing! I have had tons of compliments and I'm more than happy with the results. Can't wait to see what the future holds for me and the weight loss.

3 months after surgery I'VE BEEN WIDDERIZED! I'm in Love with the new me
So we are three months 7 days after surgery and I'm still loosing weight! Dr Widder and his staff is amazing and they have been with me every step of the way! The best part about the tummy tuck with Dr. Widder is his bedside manner along with NO DRAINS!
So when i started this journey my husband I went in for a consult with Dr. Widder (February 19, 2016) I was weighing 306 lbs. A little over two months later I was down 33lbs and ready for surgery. As mentioned before surgery took off an additional 12lbs which put me to 261 lbs. Proud to say as of today (lil over 3 months since surgery) I'm down additional 24 lbs weighing in at 237 lbs and still loosing! So now you get why I say I'VE BEEN WIDDERIZED! Dr. Shlomo Widder in Fairfax, VA is the BEST... adding new pics which were taken at my last office visit 7/8/2016 (lil under 3 months from surgery date). These pics are side by side my pictures taken the day of surgery

Wow you look amazing! I'm so happy for you!!!! Congrats on your weight loss!!! I don't see many plus size tummy tucks. I even have tried to search on this site. I have been on here a few months I wish I would have seen your profile sooner. It just helps seeing other woman who went through this that are like me!!!! I lost 70 pounds I have been trying to loose more and I have been stuck here. I am starting to get discouraged I feel like I work so hard and I can't get no where. I wanted to post a picture of before I lost weight of my whiole body but I don't have any just me I never took pictures of just me if someone did I erased them. I feel like this tummy tuck will make me more proportionate. I'm all stomach. Then I think it will give me more confidence to move on with my weight loss journey. I have maintained my weight now for about 8 months which is amazing cause I was always a yoyo dieter. So I'm really proud for keeping off the weight this time. When I start I weighed 260 now I'm 190. Size 24 now 14 or 16. Any advice??? How was your surgery any recommendations ? How long till you were able to stand up? How long were you off work? How was your swelling? What size were u in day of surgery till after surgery? Keep me posted on your journey!!!!

FIRST OFF I WANNA SAY SUGAR BUSTERS..get the book it's amazing and really helpful I did yo-yo dieting for the last 12yrs and no real results until now.
YES..I too searched and searched for other women like us who had tummy tucks or were planning to have one.. not many at all .. I was lucky I had a girlfriend who was plus size and had hers done 10yrs ago with the same doctor and had amazing results she is now in a size 12 and has been there for over 8yrs. She inspired me.. the real push was when she told me "Sherry you will go out and spend thousands of dollars on a new car that will only last for about 6yrs why not spend that on the car you drive everyday (yourself) which will last you a life time". That's when it clicked I do everything for everyone along with putting them all before me and if me ain't right how can I be here for them. My husband said Sherry do you babe I wanna see you happy with you.. I was scared and I'm frugal so spending the money was hard for me but I'm so happy and thankful I did it! Day of consult (Feb. 19th) I was 306lbs in size 20 about to bust..lol.. I'm 5'9 thank goodness as it helped spread my weight out. The day of surgery I was 273lbs after the surgery I was minus 12lbs so I left the office at 261lbs. I've continued to lose weight so today (Aug 12th) one day shy of 4 months since surgery I'm 228lbs and in a size 14 which depending on the maker its loose!
I won't lie and say surgery wasn't painful as it was but it was tolerable with pain meds. Drink LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER can't stress that enough it really helps. I followed the suggestions of foods not to eat two weeks before and after surgery as my Dr told me to. I had little to no bruising or swelling. Slept in a recliner for almost 3 weeks, surgery was on a Wednesday I returned to work (desk job) the following Monday. No lifting of anything over 3lbs for 2 months. Clothes fit so much different now than before so I have to try them on when out shopping but now it's FUN! Oh and my Dr didn't use drains so I was ecstatic! I can so relate to no pictures before because I hated them not now! If you have any other questions let me know I'll help anyway I can. What state are you in? I'll post a few pics today

I am in Pennsylvania. Now I do have a question how do they do a drainless tummy tuck? I don't know the difference I know regular u have drains but how can they do drainless. What foods did he tell u to eat or not eat? You went back to work less then a week? Were you able to stand up straight?

August 15, 2016
I forget what he said he does differently so he doesn't have to put in drains but I can call and find out if you would like. Yes I went back to work after a week I was sore and I didn't froze myself to stand in attention so to speak but I didnt hunch my back over either. I will look.for the paper work regardimg the foods not to eat two weeks before and two weeks after and let you know. I know for sure no tomato or anything containing them as something in them makes bruising worse. Let me look around and ill let you know this week for sure.

Ok found the info on the no drains
. "No drain" technique includes using what are called "quilting sutures" or "progressive tension sutures" that help close off spaces where fluid may collect and take tension off of the closure line of the skin.

Still losing weight and loving the healthier version of ME
So today is just one day shy of being 4 months since my surgery and I couldn't be happier with my results! I'm now weighing 228lbs and in a size 14 in which some are really loose depending on who makes it. Never thought I would like trying on clothes in the store but guess what I love it! My body shape is way different than it ever was so i just can't pick an outfit and buy it trying on is a must now. I'm uploading some before and after pictures. I used to hate taking pics so I don't have many before as I hated how I looked.
