My Dream Butt! Thanks to This Doctor! - Vienna, VA

A little over a week after my surgery and I'm feeling better slowly but surely! I finally found a comfortable position to drive!!!! I have a Honda pilot (SUV) challenging for me to drive, but I was able to make it work! Yay!
Felt kind of miserable/useless first week bc I'm a active person at work and with my 2y/o. Patience is what I'm trying to keep in my mind, and tempted to start shopping for new clothes!!!! :)

Did you get lipo also?

April 1, 2013
No, I did not. I was thinking about it and dr. Widder suggested I not get lipo since I plan on having one more child in the future. Too much scar tissue would of been in the way. I will need Tummy tuck. :)

I have a consult with Dr. Widder, what size did you get if you don't mind me asking?

Feeling fully comfortable
It's almost 2 years since I had the surgery and I have no regrets!!! It's still a bit odd doing a lot of running bc my body is still getting used to the implants but everything feels fine, I am now fully comfortable with my body! Been going to the gym (just had my 2nd child 4 months ago) and the only difficulty I still have is doing sit up's. Laying on a hard flat surface still feels weird (imagine sitting on thick wallets in each back pocket) I'm very happy how jeans fit, leggings and skirts! I think the only thing that bothers me is that I'm still numb in certain spots...it's getting better but yeah.

Your result look great! I have butt implants too, but I want a revision surgery because, although I do love the look of them, I hate the way the implant edges feel when myself or someone else touches my butt. The implant edges are just very hard and easy to feel. Do you have this issue at all?

Onejkl How long have you had them? Mine were hard to touch for about 4 months and I could see the implant lines/edges but that all went away by 6 months. They were also a little square but are now a perfect C shape at 8 months. My implants settled down and I have fullness at the bottom too. I love my final results. I believe it takes time to see this and so worth the wait. :)

Hey are you still able to run and jump or lay on your back? Can you do lunges and squats or do t8ou feel discomfort?

November 9, 2016
Sorry for the very late response... Yes, yes and yes... It will take time tho. When I run I feel the weight of them but I got used to them

Hey girl thanks for all the info. Do you know why the Dr W doesnt do fat injections? I'm curious :)

November 9, 2016
If I can remember he mentioned to me that fat transfer isn't a predictable and/or long lasting result. Once you start loosing weight, that can happen in areas of fat transfers as well
November 9, 2016
Huh, that's so weird he would say that because the fat really does stay. It depends largely on technique and then aftercare. I'm glad you like your results tho :) I have seen women who have had permanent results for over 5 years :
