I am married and have a 14 and 6year old. My family is complete! I have always wanted to have a tummy tuck since my first child. In 2006 I got breast implants and lipo to my flanks. My PS at that time told me to wait until I was done having children. At that time, it wasn't as bad as it is now! Back then I could hide it and it was some what tolerable.
Everything that I wear must be reefed up to just under my breast to try and suck in the rolls. Lululemon has become my best friend and is good at covering up. When I sit down it feels like I'm an accordion. All the rolls scrunch up and puffs over my pants like an insulation bag being slit.
I spend so much time getting ready everyday to try and find that perfect outfit to hide my tummy. I shouldn't want to hide. I am usually a confident woman, I have a wonderful family, secure employment, established our home and lifestyle but there is one thing missing.... Feeling confident in my own skin.
I used to think wow if I have a tummy tuck people are going to automatically assume I am a vain person etc etc but after reading this website I realize that it doesn't matter what other people think or say. I am not doing this for them, I am doing this for myself. I have given this world two beautiful children and have always put their needs and wants first. So now that I have hit the big 35 it's my turn to be first!
I found a wonderful doctor to do my surgery after 3 consultations with 3 different doctors. I have had two consults with him so far and have booked an appt with my family doctor to fill out my pre op forms.
I wasn't going to post on this site mainly cause I am addicted to reading all of your amazing stories but now that my surgery is fast approaching in 28 days I am starting to feel very nervous to the point it is giving my stomach knots!!! I am most nervous about the pain and what my kids are going to think when they see me after surgery.
I still need to talk to them but don't know how to break the ice or what I am going to say when they ask why, when I always tell them they should love themselves just the way they are even if someone tries to tell them different (bullies picking about appearance)
I do plan on taking pictures and posting on here. I just need the courage to do so as I have NEVER shown anyone besides my hubby and PS my tummy before.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you have any suggestions please let me know, I am all ears:)
One more thing, do you know of any great sites to do meal prep to freeze dinners? I want my hubby stress free as I will be out of commission for awhile and all my responsibilities will be on him till I recover. I'm sure he will do just fine but there I go worrying again lol

Well I spent about 30minutes writing a blog and then all of a sudden it's gone! Errr
Any suggestions if I should use a bed with lots of pillows or a recliner?
I finished all my Christmas shopping this weekend and will probably start decorating in two weeks.
I still need to gather all my supplies. I have some but i need baskets so i can have a stash in the bathroom and one in the bedroom.
I finally took pictures of my lovely tummy and all I did was laugh cause I never took pictures of me planking before. I LOOK LIKE I AM MELTING!! lol Never realized how many stretch marks I actually have, thank you auto flash.
I also took a picture with my tights on to show you how high i have to reef my pants up to cover the gunt.
I can't wait to see the after pics!!my dream is to wear a bikini and feel damn good in one!

I've just got pillows at home .. But then I did stay in hospital for 2 nights. It's a bit tricky getting up using your tummy muscles but if you have someone with you as them to help you up. When's your date ? Xx

My date is Dec 15th. The place I am getting my surgery is right next to a resort and spa with a hallway connector to the two buildings. They will be able to wheel me up to my room. I booked it for 4 nights, I get there the night before my surgery. The nurse will come see me up to 3 days after my surgery to do checkups.

Time is getting close. The most thing I am worried about today is getting a cold or something similar that would postpone my surgery. Tomorrow I am going to finish buying all the things on my list and put them in baskets.
I've been working out 6 days a week for 1-2 hrs trying to strengthen my body hoping it will help with recovery. I'm also trying to lose fat and build a bum lol. I dream about an hour glass figure!
I went to the mall today and had the biggest urge to buy clothes but I haven't bought any since August when I decided to go through with a TT. I've hinted for gift cards for Christmas so I can by a new wardrobe!
I took more pictures to upload tomorrow. I see a difference as my pics are taken three weeks apart. I've lost some weight off of my tummy. I try not to weigh myself as it can be discouraging when the numbers don't move. I more or less do measurements and taking pictures also helps.

We are worrying about the same thing! I am having my TT on Dec 11th, and am afraid of getting a cold as well and having to cough a lot post-op. Both of my boys have a cough right now :-( I am taking lots of Vit C, so hopefully I will catch what they have.

Lol!! Good recovery. My daughter woke up this morning with a barking cough :s. I am busting out the hand sanitizer and going to disinfect the house today. It's pretty nerve racking
