32 Years Old Septo/Rhinoplasty

So far I have nothing to be unhappy about as the whole process has been really positive. I am able to breath through both sides of my nose now and have a more attractive nose as well. I would however like to mention to others who are considering this surgery that its very important to be patient- final results take up to a year. That was a suprise to me as I had a bit if shock when the cast was removed, I had thought that the nose I saw was the nose I would be left with, I was very scared even though there was an improvement I wasnt totally happy. As time goes by however, I am very happy with the changes that have occured. It was important that I didnt look at myself too much and take too many photos, it was best to try and focuss on other things and trust Dr. Naysmith.

My swelling around my eyes has gone done significantly, although there is still a ways to go. I am having trouble blinking both eyes together for some reason? I will ask Dr. Naysmith about this soon. Otherwise, I am doing really well, a bit bored as Im not able to go out and do much quite yet. Tomorrow is my first appointment back to the clinic, I will have the cast taken off.

I cant tell any difference of how my nose looks at this point, Im sure it will still take quite a bit of time to be able to say how I feel about the results.

The day has arrived- Im writing this while still kind of disorientated from the medication just so you know. I want to share my experience while its still fresh in my mind.

I want to start off by thanking Dr. Naysmith and his staff as I was very well taken care of, any nervousness was quickly gone as the clinic was very relaxing and everyone was very thorough, professional and most of all wonderful.

I have quite a bit of bruising as you can see from the photo, but its very common and I bought some arnica and Ibuprofen and am using an ice mask on and off to help with that part.

I am not in any pain at this point, I will continue to update...
