Still in quite a bit of pain. Mostly at the nasal passage area due to mucous dripping over my stitches. Really hoping it doesnt cause an infection. Im doing my best to keep it clean! Bruising has gone down a lot but still pretty swollen. I hope my nose comes out looking great because you couldnt pay me to go through this again lol tuesday is the big day and let me tell you...i just want to drug myself and wake up on tuesday haha. The stints in my nose are very uncomfortable. I will add some new photos :-)

Hey! Im just headed to get my cast and splints off im beyond excited!!! Here are some of my must haves....straws! The cast was bulky and hard to drink from glasses. Some type of moistening mouth spray, breathing only with your mouth is not fun, lip treatment as dry cracked lips were a big problem, lots of qtips and kleenex, gentle laxative as pain killers can slow things down a lot! Your top lip will be a bit swollen and numb for a while so cutting foods up small helped me a lot. Post op day 2 and 3 were my worst so make sure you have someone that can help you make food and keep you comfortable. At night..oh boy i didnt sleep much during the whole process. Id wake up choking and not being able to breathe from the dry mouth so keep water and lip chap at bedside as things dry up and close shut when you do get some rest. I was on tramacet and a side effect of that pain killer was dry mouth *eye roll* ugh. Sleep sitting up as it helps with the swelling (or as much as you can). And most importantly ICE ICE ICE! Even if your feeling better and want a break from icing so much...dont lol. Good luck and ask me any questions amy time as i know you will have lots haha

Lots of swelling and pain today (was expected). Didnt sleep well last night as i had to mouth breathe and woke up choking as my throat dried shut every 45 minutes. Ugh not fun to wake up to haha. I dont get the cast off until next tuesday so i have to wait and see what it will look like for anther week :-( im a little nervous as I reminded him not to do a "miss piggy" nostril look just before i went under but when i take off the moustache dressing it totally looks like a have one. Eeek. I just need to keep reassuring myself that it will change a lot over the next couple months as it heals and swelling goes away. Well im drifting to sleep again from the pain medication but ill do another update tomorrow.

Ok so it went very well other than having so much energy immediately after waking up haha the nurses were so shocked and found it pretty funny. No pain really. Im still bleeding pretty good and have a very black eye. Well im going for a nap I will update again tomorrow :-)
