Animation deformity and a less snoopy
Hey all!
So I've noticed more recently after being given the clear to work out at my previous activity that my implants move with the slightest chest muscle stimulation. It's incredibly embarrassing when I'm working out and as you can see in the photo, pretty obvious. I sent the photo to the clinic and they said that it is a common finding. Does anyone else have it this obvious? Did it get better?
I finally received my strap from the clinic 3 weeks after my last appointment. I'm not entirely sure if I'm putting it on right. It seems to create this tight kind of pain along the left middle breast area along the sternum. Not sure if this is normal or not.
I've been googling constantly about the snoopy deformity and if others have had resolution of this or whether they had to go on and have a lift. There's not much info out there, I'm hoping the strap will help a bit. I'm officially 2 months post op so I'm hoping they'll still drop a bit more.
I think that my implants look a little oblong, less round and I'm not sure if this is because of how I'm putting the strap on.
Thanks to all you lovely ladies out there who have been sharing your experiences, helps me feel a little less freaked out by all this. I haven't told my family about my boobs, my mom would disown me I think, so it's been a little stressful trying to hide them.
If anyone can share their experiences with a snoopy or animation deformity I'd appreciate it!

A little less snoopy??
So it's been 6 weeks since my surgery and I made an appointment with one of the nurses at the clinic last week. She did agree that I had a "double bubble" on the left breast and suggested I wear a strap to push them down. I was a little confused as I thought the double bubble had to do more with deformities under the implant where the old crease created a deformity above the implant crease.
She said that at the 6 month mark I could consider a lift if needed. I was pretty disappointed but I'm hopeful that they might still drop a bit and look a little less snoopy by then. She's going to mail me the strap as they didn't have any in stock so I've been using makeshift tensor bandages to push them down.
I had asked the surgeon to do the lift at the same time as the augmentation if he felt that it would be necessary so I was so happy when I came out of surgery without the cookie cutter nipples. I'm a bit upset that I may need to have to go through another surgery. It's been hard trying to arrange the time off and also the extra moolah.
I haven't been able to find much information online about whether other people with the snooopy had better results over time or if they needed a revision so I hope that my review helps another person who may have similar issues.

Feeling bummed... "snoopy deformity"
So it's been about a month now since surgery and I'm pretty much feeling back to normal. I do wake up still at night with these terrible chest pains, more in the middle part of the breasts but overall can sleep well on my side. I certainly feel a lot of muscle tightness when I'm doing certain movements/lifting and have a pretty obvious deviation of the breast when I'm flexing my chest. I've always been pretty heavy into weight training so I was kind of expecting that.
I'm really not happy with the way that the implants have been dropping. The photos are of week 2 and 4 and the right side seems to be in a reasonable position but the left seems to have a pretty obvious snoopy deformity. That was the side that did sit a little droopier to begin with and was the borderline lift. Just to update, I had dual plane 375cc saline unders through periareolar incision done.
I wonder if anyone else had this same look and had better results overtime? I'm loving the way they look in clothes/bras but I am so embarrassed naked. If I hold my shoulders back it kinda gives them that "lift" that I'm hoping for.
I've been aggressively massaging the left one downward and even tried taping the whole breast up to help drop it lower to fill out the crease (not a good idea... you should see the scabs after pulling that tape off!). I read about lying on the floor to squish the breast and open up the surrounding pocket but also read about that that can cause the implants to displace laterally (toward the armpits). If anyone has any feedback as to what their experience with a snoopy deformity was like it would be appreciated! I know I need to wait it out but I'm just hoping to have an idea of what to possibly expect. I really cannot afford another procedure at the moment.
