One More Month to Wait - Victoria, BC
UPDATED FROM CountdownToFreedom
WOW one mont post op... doing GREAT! looking GREAT!
$1,000
It's a little over a month. I am so happy, my only regret is that I didn't explant sooner. I am so happy with how my whole body looks now. My clothes fit. I can wear tight fitting tops without embarrassment. I have been to the gym 5 days in a row, doing more and more each day. I am starting back at tennis on Monday. Like someone else said here "don't let fear hold you back." For those in an anxious state waiting for surgery...please know and trust that you will be SO happy to be implant free. I can't stop looking in the mirror... really am so happy with how much better I look, and how I feel. No more neck pain, no more back pain. I think I was always hunching over, and holding my shoulders up from the weight of the implants. Freedom feels so wonderful! actually can't wait to go bathing suit shopping... that's saying something!

9 days Post op...
I REALLY wish I had done this sooner! Anyone reading this, and considering an explant DO IT, don't be afraid!
I had my post op visit and the surgical nurse was surprised at how much breast tissue I had left! I am too. My clothes fit much better. I am SO happy to get rid of those 32 DD sports bras that I have been wearing for years. I have no pain at all, can do most everything, but no tennis or upper body training yet.
My PS is away on vacation and the surgical nurse didn't want to give me the go ahead with sports until confirmed with the doc.
My husband is thrilled with the results, he had never seen me without implants and never really liked or disliked them. They were always off limits anyways because they hurt all the time, they were just in the way and annoying.
I thank all of the brave women who shared their stories and posted photos. It made it so much easier to know what to expect and to know that others are going through the same experience. I am ready to get on with my life, I was so focused on getting these out... now they're gone I am free. I will check back in a few months with an update. Thank you all for your support!!

There OUT!
I had my surgery yesterday. The procedure took 18 minutes! I feel woozy today from the meds, but I am so relieved that they are out. I have much more breast tissue than I thought, but only just had a peek right after the surgery. Will post more later. :-))))

Oh my goodness!!!! So happy for you!!!!!!!!! Excited for your update ! Get some rest xxxx
That's awesome!! Congratulations on being implant-free! :) :) Geez, 18 minutes?? That's gotta be some kind of a record! :)
I know! 18 minutes on the 18th! PS even did some scar revision from previous lift. The incisions are so small, I don't know how he managed to get the implants out..He said it was a trade secret!
Congrats!! Glad things went so smoothly for you! I had my 6 week follow up today and cannot be happier!!!
How are you feeling lovely?
Day 3 post op. I was able to take a shower and wash my hair, even managed the blowdryer. My incisions are small and were done vertically through my mastoplexy scars, and the PS did some scar revision too. I had to sleep on my back for 2 nights, but was ok on my side last night. My results are really good! just not used to seeing myself so flat! :-) No regrets at all.
You look beautiful!
