Hey, I'm glad you're doing this for you. This site is great for finding support and reading about other people's experiences. I'm still in my consultation stage myself. I have my consultation with a new doctor tomorrow. I met with another doctor last summer, but I didn't like the doctor and personal reasons kept me from looking into more surgeons. In terms of sizing…doctors go by cc's not cup size because, well, a cup size D on one person, is not a cup size D on another person. It all depends on many factors. I checked out your current pictures and your wish pictures…those wish sizes look doable for your frame. What I've learned from this site is that you always wanna go bigger =) if you're at a consultation and trying to decide between two sizes, go bigger. It seems that most women and most doctors find that women wake up after the operation wishing for the bigger size. As for doing this operation in the summer…I'm in the same boat. Not sure if I should do it in the summer either, but I've been waiting a very long time for this. Just need to remind myself to be patient. Good luck and keep us posted =)

I had my consultation Aug 22 2014, surgery Oct 21st. I choose this date could have the surgery sooner. My stats before 5'4, 114lbs, small 32A. I've got 365cc moderate cohesive gel, and now 36C. It's a BIG C! I had that feeling just after surgery, to small but happy now about size. Good luck with your journey!

Hi! you had commented on one of my posts so I wanted to read your story as well :) I'd say research research research.... when I first started looking it was almost impossible figuring out who was truly good. Especially with this being Los Angeles, there's cosmetic surgeons EVERYWHERE. That was the part that scared me the most because I've seen so many examples of boob jobs gone wrong or just really unattractive. So night after night I would just search a little more, read a little more, compare photos, etc. A few times I thought that perhaps I had found someone worth going to but then I would cross reference them from other websites and find less than great reviews. I wanted someone that was resoundingly the best and that I could feel completely safe with. I'd say 6 months is how long it took me to finally find my awesome doctor.... I couldn't find a doctor that I felt that way about locally, only when I expanded my search did I find mine. It is a 2 hr drive back and forth to my doctor so with all of the pre op appointments and post op appointments it is a larger commitment but hey - these are breasts that you need to be proud of for the next what, decade? So I think ultimately it is worth it. I scheduled my surgery right after my first consultation since my research and then meeting him solidified my choice right away. I would say that I sure wished I did this in the winter time!! My husband and I love being outdoors and by the pool so it is at least 6 weeks before I can even think of getting wet :( that part sucks. Unfortunately though, my dad has found out he has bone cancer and so I knew that I needed to get this done sooner than later because I would eventually be needing to care for him as his condition worsens so that's why I scheduled for May. And as your question to sizing, what they say is true - do you really want to go through ALL of this pain and procedure to only be one size larger? I don't know your frame and it's not for me to say but it may be more fun for you to go to a D-ish size. Good luck with your consultation!!

I forgot to ask in my earlier comment, what's your stats? (height, weight and current cup size). You can search this site based on those stats to see sizes on other women with similar stats to you.
