It is just over a week since I had my first treatment of Miradry. My arms are actually still sore, mostly at night I notice it as I like to have one arm under my pillow which means me putting weight onto my armpit. They are still slightly swollen but nothing like the first few days. Best thing yet? I don't sweat! I noticed the tinniest wet mark on my right armpit which is where I would sweat the most. That was only because I was out golfing in the hot weather and was sweating from walking the course. I really hope that because I had my first treatment on level (5) that it works a lot better in the coming months. It would be awesome not to have to pay another $1500 for the second treatment. I will update again soon! Hopefully this helps you!

Hey, thanks for the review. I'm on day four and my arms are still sore...Very dry.. but I'm walking around looking like I'm about to HighFive everyone. You mentioned you were sore seven days after the treatment? how does it feel now? better?

Hi there. It has been 12 days since my first treatment and the swelling has gone down tremendously. I still have very small lumps under my arms but its not noticeable for me. My left armpit is still a little sore for when I am trying to sleep. I mentioned in a previous post that I sleep with one arm under my pillow so there is weight being put on my armpit when I am lying down. I just got back from Vegas where it was quite hot...I was dry the whole time. It felt great! I can wear whatever color I want now!

how would you compare this treatment to the previous Botox ones? I hope to hear a longer term response from you. Just joined to comment on this :P did you still get any "little spots" ? would you have with Botox? have you returned for any followup treatments? Did you get it done in Vic or mainland? Thanks so much for your post so far if anything! I guess I hope that you are happy n dry and don't feel the need to check back to forums such as these. I had a minimal(my first) Botox procedure in the fall and it was amazing but I paid out of pocket.. ye old awesome uncomfortable armpits are returning with a vengeance now and looking into doctors in the area familiar with this procedure...

Day after 1st procedure.

About 6 hours after my first procedure my underarms began to swell up tremendously. It feels like I have tennis balls under my arms and have to walk around with my elbows slightly in the air. I took today off work but am hoping the swelling goes down by tomorrow so I don't look weird walking around at work with my arms bowed out like I'm trying to look "huge". My right armpit has some pretty gross looking bruises but I know that fairly normal. I recommend if you are thinking about getting this treatment you give yourself a few days after for recovery. My arms feel a bit weak and i had a tough time sleeping last night! I will continue to keep everyone updated!

Day of treatment

Day of procedure.

This morning I had my first treatment of Miradry. I was a little nervous after reading the reviews and had a tough time sleeping last night. I wouldn't say the needles hurt but they were certainly annoying. Like I said about I requested the first session to be on the highest setting (5) to get the full effect. After both armpits were frozen they began the actual procedure. At first I couldn't feel anything which was great. About half way through I felt a sharp heating pain in my upper arm which did not feel good at all. The doctor came back and injected some more solution in order to completely freeze the area which helped. The second arm pit was going well until we started reaching the end and then I could start feeling the heating pain again. I am a pretty tough guy and have had a few tattoos so I am no wussy. This pain is different, it feels deep in your actual armpit and is really uncomfortable. I decided just to bite the bullet and to proceed to finish as quickly as possible. Before you start to freak out, remember I had it done on the highest setting which I believe it just means that the machine spends more time in each area then if it were on a lower setting. It has one been a couple hours since the treatment and I don't feel too bad at all. My armpits feel warm to hot but I will begin to ice them to relieve that feeling. I am very excited not to be sweating nearly as much anymore! I hope that because this procedure is expensive that only 1 session will do the trick, hence my choice of the level 5 setting. If sweating starts up again in a few months then I will certainly be back for the second treatment!
