1 week after Vi Peel & jury is still out, itchy & skin feels dry & scaly

Thought the dryness went away, the results were underwhelming, to put it bluntly. I don’t think you can tell which was the before vs the after pic, and I’d argue that the pigmentation and freckles worsened (darkened). .

The treatment was barely bearable, not because it was painful but because it smelled awful. It was hard to breathe and gave me a headache afterwards.

From day 2 to Day 6, I peeled as expected and was feeling good about it. On the last morning, I woke up itchy and looked like a burn victim (a different type of glow). I wasn’t peeling, but my face and neck were hot and looked sunburnt.

I’m about to do my last step, but I’m still itchy and my skin feels dry and scaly. I’m really hoping to wake up tomorrow with new skin.
