Good for you! The sorority of us who have done this - recently (4 months ago with revision lipo a week ago) or years ago...I think MOST of us are in agreement that we are glad we did it! If I knew then what I knew now, I'd be more prepared for the pain as it was hell...I've had a laparotomy but they kept me in the hospital for 3 days with my own little pain machine...nothing like coming home the same day from the asc! But if you read this and people's stories and are prepared, you know that the meds really help and in just a few days, you feel so much better! Just tell yourself you plan to sleep away the first few and avoid all the fun! Seriously, you are almost there...and going to do just fine. Can't wait to see your after pix!

Thank you for the encouragement! I read your review - wow what a journey! I am glad your Dr helped you out. Mine told me he won't do Lipo on my upper abs at same time as tummy tuck due to healing process is better but will touch up as needed afterward - same Lipo as you and any touch up would
Have no charges unless I needed to go under anistesia - but the General Lipo is only local so no charge. He is doing flanks and hips with the TT. I am thinking of adding inner thighs but not sure.

Thank you! I've had a good easy recovery so far, feel great. As most others say first 3 days were the worst - really first 24 hours mostly due to the general anesthesia and nausea. You need to stay on top of you pain meds make sure you Dr gives you anti nausea meds and eat even if you don't feel like it. By day 3 I had most of my energy back. I ate plenty of protein / protein drinks. Bromelain I believe has kept me from swelling to badly. I missed my regular dose yesterday and puffed up like a marshmallow. Good Luck next week!! Thank you! Unknown what you mean, I have wanted to get my tummy fixed for over 30 years - finally got the nerve thanks to this site. I know things can go wrong, but mostly I keep thinking how nice to not have to buy clothes to hide the tummy anymore! Good luck with your procedure!

Congrats on your procedure and results! Look great! This site is awesome, so many things I would not have known or considered and honestly probably would not have gotten up the nerve to take the plunge thought I have wanted to fix this since I was 20.

Thank you! I honestly never expected it to look so great, I just wanted the "flap" gone. I love to see the women in my/our age range and in their 60s as well, finally doing this for themselves. Probably most of us always putting the kids and husband first, not thinking to spend the big bucks on just themselves, or finally having the money after finishing paying for braces/college/weddings--whatever it is, so glad we're doing it and enjoying the results! Yay for us!

I will post pics. This site has been so helpful to me I'd like to give back. I am hoping for a low flat scar, I've seen some miracles on this site for ladies with bellies like ours! In our age range. My youngest will be 32 this week- so many years with this tummy - doesn't matter if I weighed 110 or 210 looked the same. Dr says can get most of my stretch marks except the few that are just above my belly button - that's a plus!!

How tall are you? This will sound weird, but you have almost the exact same measurements as me, which is exciting to me, lol! I feel like we're always looking for others on here "like us" so we can see ourselves from a different point of view and try and imagine/or see results that we can expect. We also have the exact same surgery day!
